List of Charles Famoyin's Reviews
Dr. Famoyin is great, but his staff is inconsiderate and rude. The dr. orders labs, infusions, and injections for me. I set up my second infusion two weeks ago. They call me yesterday evening and want me to reschedule for two more weeks and for me to happily say, “ok” because THEY overbooked. They tell me, “We have too many chemo treatments booked for the next two weeks.” I came to Dr. Famoyin from another cancer center who didn’t care about my health and treatment. Now after one rushed infusion in their lab (they were not happy to do that infusion because “It was too late.”) I take off from work (school) and get a sub only to be told, “We can’t see you tomorrow.” I don’t feel good either, but they don’t care. Now I have to go on the search yet again for a NEW hematologist. I see why people go to Vanderbilt now.
Dr. Famoyan and his nurses and staff have been very caring and compassionate with my mom, Barbara Hurst, and our family. He first treated my while in the hospital and explained everything, even to me over the phone (as I live out of town). Please read my parents story by searching for: ‘Barbara’s story’ (Barbara’s story because DeWitt is no longer with us), on GoFundMe.
He’s thorough and very knowledgeable.
I just can’t say enough great things about Dr. Famoyin , Sarah Hammons PA, and the nurses in the infusion center and the ladies in the lab and the wonderful ladies in the office and behind the scenes that work so hard to make sure that’s you have optimal and individual care . I never feel dismissed or uncared about . It makes a lovely visit to see their smiling faces when your not feeling so well or having to have a treatment . Thanks to all for what you do ❤️
Love this man. I’m going on 6 years of stage 4 lung cancer. Dr. Famoyin has been wonderful, caring and knowledgeable the whole time. God had really used him in this journey! Wouldn’t want anyone else to be my doctor. He has some great PAs too! Sarah and Taren are wonderful!
after many oncologist in the tri city area and with my health deteriorating minute by minute I finally are being seen by an oncologist that is proactive and not reactive..the results speak for itself.
Dr Famoyin is a very knowledgeable doctor and probably the most caring and compassionate doctor I've ever had.
Dr Famoyin takes time with you to talk and answers all your questions. If you are seeing him and not his assistant you understand if you have to wait. He gives each person the time and care they need not by a time clock.
ALWAYS a wait time. What seems concerning one visit appears to be of no concern the next. Huge delays with test results.
I first visited Dr. Famoyin in 2009. At that time I was anemic and near death's door. I had seen other Doctors prior to my visit and all they did were tests and more tests with no treatment for my loss of blood and anemia. Dr. Famoyin, after reviewing my medical records and tests, diagnosed an ulcer and started me on iron infusions. I immediately felt better and eventually recovered. Dr. Famoyin is an excellent Doctor who is very caring, thorough and professional in all aspects of his practice. He has an excellent staff of professionals, especially the nurses in the infusion center, lab technicians, and nurse practitioners. I will be forever grateful to Dr Famoyin and his staff for the excellent treatment I received at his facility.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
