List of Christina Hutchins's Reviews
I have been going to Dr. Hutchins for 15 years. I love that we never are on a 20 minute time clock.
Dr. Hutchins is always caring and provides the attention to my health concerns every time I see her. She is attentive and informed on the latest health issues and medications available. Her nurses are also very good.
I am so glad I go to Dr. Hutchins. She has been wonderful to me over the years. She understands me and what I go through. She provides advice, understanding, and the kind of medication that's best for my conditions..I love her.
I have been going to Family Physicians for many years, since they were in the old location. The staff is always very friendly each and every time. Dr. Christina Hutchins is very personable and caring, I enjoy each time I get to see her.
I have been a patient of Dr. Hutchins since 1996. I have a chronic illness (fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). She takes care of all my needs so I do not have to spend my time seeing several other Dr. for this condition. She is quick to refer you to a specialist if there is a need but still maintains you as a patient. She manages all aspects of your care and incorporates the recommendations of the specialist. She cares for all of my family. Yes, you do have to wait but she is all yours when you do see her. She listens to all your needs and is accepting of alternative therapies that I have incorporated into my Fibromyalgia treatment. She is willing to try new treatments when presented with research results from reputable studies. I rarely have to see another member of her practice even for same-day call in. Even I do have to see another member of Family Physicians, they are all good.
Granted, the wait time is a little long sometimes but being a patient of hers for over 10 years, I understand the popularity and confidence her patients have in her. I know I do!!!! And very comfortable talking to her about anything. And I also feel the same about her nurse, Debbie...
Dr Hutchins is a good physician but you have a long wait in the exam room. I work and don't have 1.5 to 2 hours to wait to see a Dr for a scheduled appointment. If it was a walk-in appointment that would be expected. So I'm looking for a new healthcare practitioner.
Dr. Hutchins does try very hard for her patients. However she has taken on too many patients and it is very hard to get an appointment within a 3 week period. When you are sick you do not have 3 weeks to see someone. The receptionist advised I could see a NP/PA instead. I want to pay for QUALITY PRIMARY CARE. I refuse to see someone with less education than a licensed physician and be charged the full MD price. When I spoke to the office manager she very unprofessionally argued with me.
Wait time is ridiculous. Her nurse is rude, she is not a people person. She is always behind. Have to call 50 times before she writes a prescription. I am surprised I am still alive since I have missed so many days on medications because she can't write a prescription on time. Nice lady, but no sense of time management, and she really doesn't care if you have to chase and beg for your medications.
The wait time was ridiculous. I waited at least 2 hours total. One hour before seeing the nurse, 30 minutes between the nurse and seeing the doctor, and another 30 minutes between my actual appointment. She's an ok doctor, not amazing and not worth the 2 hour wait

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
