I work as a therapist and have worked with many psychiatrists as colleagues. I am appalled at the level of incompetence here. Not only did he not show up for two of my appointments with him, bit he couldn't even respond to my email. I had to go to urgent care to get a refill on my medication to avoid being extremely ill. Still no response from him.

When I called to follow up on a prescription he promised to refill and didn't, he canceled all upcoming appointments with me and told me to find a new psychiatrist, knowing I had already ran out of medication. I felt very abandoned.

You can tell this doctor pretends like he cares about your situation but hes just getting to know you better so he can give you the wrong psychiatric meds so you get readmitted to the hospital and he makes more money. Also he’s very rude at times. Would not recommend at all.

I was there because of weaning too quickly from pain meds. He strung me along for several days before releasing me . The really bad part was that he suggested that I go back on the meds because I have a legitimate medical reason. This was after I explained that I had chosen to stop because they no longer effectively help my pain. Pain management is a joke in this area but that's a separate issue.

He took me off my med without tapering me off and then only sent me home with Zoloft 50mg. I think this was very unprofessional because you are suppose to be tapered off benzo's. I wouldn't recommend going to Woodridge at all while he is there. I was there for 3 and 1/2 days so that was no time to take me off safely. I feel he harmed me more than I was helped.
