A friend recommended Dr. Hodshon after I had a very bad experience with a doctor in Kingsport, during which time my medical concerns were overlooked or ignored completely.Dr. Hodshon is very personable and always takes time to address any questions that I may have regarding my care. His nurse is also fabulous.Overall, I am SO glad I changed office to see Dr. Hodshon.

Dr. Hodshon is a top-notch professional. We couldn't have asked for a better doctor to guide us through the labor and delivery process. I went to Dr. Hodshon on the recommendation of a coworker at my new job. He was wonderful, listened to everything I said, addressed all my concerns, developed a clear plan and was easy to talk to. It could not have been a better doctor-patient interaction. The typically miserable physical exam was quick but thorough, painless and professional. Excellent bedside manner!

Dr. Hudson is an excellent Doctor. He treats his patients with respect and listens patiently . He is also an excellent surgeon. I had a hysterectomy done with no problem at all. Thank you Dr. Hudson with such healing hands!

I call him the knee-to-knee doctor. He actually talks to you instead of looking at his computer across the room. I was happy he was on-call when I went into labor with my second baby. Thorough, candid, and caring!

I went to Dr. Hodshon with concerns about fertility. He is the FIRST doctor I've ever worked with that was willing to sit down and explain the process to both myself and my husband. He spent a good amount of time with us answering questions, and explaining it in terms my husband understood, as he had not done the amount of research as I had and was a bit unfamiliar with some of the terms.He is fantastic, and I will definitely continue with him for all my OB/GYN-related healthcare needs.

There are good providers at SoFHA OB/GYN, but Dr. Hodshon is hands down, my favorite! OB appointments can seem quick, trivial, robotic, and relentless. But Dr. Hodshon walked in, sat knee-to-knee with me, instead of in the corner like every other Dr, and talked. Truly wanted to know how I was doing. It was SUCH a breath of fresh air to have that kind of attention and care at such a vulnerable season of life. My next pregnancy I will request him for EVERY appointment. By far the best there!
