List of Jeff Schoondyke's Reviews
Dr. Schoondyke seems to have issues if the patient asks questions. During my visit I had to provide information concerning my surgery. Apparently he didn’t bother to check my chart. Also had me in tears when I asked a question and HE Reacted as if I was attacking his professional ability. I will not return and am going to find another cardiologist.
Dr. Schoondyke was very nice, explained what he was doing and I felt very comfortable with him. Would definitely recommend him.
Had my first visit with Dr. Schoondyke and I love his bedside manner and his staff. Very comfortable environment and very fast pt care. I wasn’t made to wait in the waiting area and when all my new patient paperwork was completed he was in there alarmist immediately. I think this is going to be a good match for me.
Dr.Schoondyke is a very qualified and caring cardiologist.I won't trust my heart to any other dr. He also kept my family well informed with my progress in surgery! I would give him a great recommendation to anyone that needs a cardiologist
Bad, his way or if not he is quick to get upset. Do not recommend period.
After having been prescribed a medication that triggered PVCs, I was referred to Dr. Schoondyke. I don't like doctors in general but when working with him, he presented options, gave his recommendation and asked what I wanted to do. He is interested in treating the underlying condition rather than treating the symptoms and gets an A+ rating from me. Best cardiologist a cyclist could have.
8 years after he assured me I'd be dead in 5 if I didn't follow his 'advice', I'm alive and quite well, thanks.
They told me I have Atrial Fibrillation and want to schedule some tests. 2 weeks later I phone to see about the tests. The nurse said someone will call me the next day. It has been 4 weeks and still no one has called me. I thought AFib was important. Apparently they don’t care! I’m finding another cardiologist that does care.
The staff in his office were very helpful and kind. I've been in medicine for over 20 years and Dr. Schoondyke and his team are on their A game. He is very knowledgeable and took time to explain things as well as time to hear my input.
Went to him based on primary care recommendation. I have history of sudden death by heart attack in family (both father @ 49, mother @ 60) with zero symptoms. (I was 62 at the time...low chlorestoral, good blood pressure, not diabetic ). He says "Well, we can do a cath, or not...up to you" I chose to do the cath, he came out white faced to tell my wife "He can't go home....must have bypass NOW" Triple bypass next day. Then, when I went back for follow up, I wished to follow a course of Vitamin C and some amino acids ( The Linus Pauling Unified theory instead of the Lipid theory most doctors/drug companies believe) rather than multiple pill regimen. He got mad, and said "You'll be dead within 5 years". Well, I'm 68 now....do the math. The guy is a putz in my opinion...I wouldn't let him near my dog.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
