List of John Robertson's Reviews
Dr. Trey Robertson is not only a GREAT surgeon but a great person! He will take his time with you and explain everything while answering all of your questions. He is top notch! A+! Dr. Trey performed surgery on my HUGE reducible ventral incisional hernia right lower quadrant which was due to a bad appendectomy done by another "surgeon" in Kingsport. Savannah his NP and all the staff are great!! If you are looking for a surgeon that will take care of your surgical needs, call Dr.Trey Robertson.
Dr Troy Robertson is a great surgeon, this group has never let me feel like I was by myself even after my surgery- they have ALWAYS seen me when I needed to be seen- his nurse practitioner Savannah is terrific- if you are having to go to him I doubt it is a good situation for you but the group will help you
If you are in the Tri-Cities area and you have issues with pilonidal cysts this is the surgeon to go to. I had a surgery done by another surgeon that never healed. Dr. Robertson did a revision surgery that healed great. Only issue several months out is some swelling but that's due to how my body heals. The difference in the aftercare between the previous surgeon and Dr. Robertson's team is night and day. Even months out from my surgery I can call the nurse with questions or concerns and they respond promptly and they never get annoyed no matter how small the issue. Dr. Robertson and his team are knowledgeable about pilonidal cysts, the different surgeries and their success rates, the issues you might expect from different surgeries, and what helps healing and what doesn't. Seriously any question you have they can answer it. I wish I had him for my first surgery because I honestly don't think I would have ended up with a revision if I had.
I have had 4 surgeries done by Dr. Robertson with the last being a full gastrectomy. In August 2015. I came to him in bad shape and he done everything humanly possible to get me the results that would be best for me. I have no doubt I would not be alive without Dr Robertson and God. I would never consider any other surgeon.
I came to see you in February and you told me I had a hernia but you didn't want to do surgery because my back was not strong enough. I aggravate this so called "hernia" in July by picking up a chair. I've been in horrible pain in the exact same area ever since. I called your office you ordered the most expensive test, a 4,000 CT Scan with contrast and there is nothing there, there is no hernia. Should this be my bill? Not a chance. Do not be telling patients they have hernias if they don't, I will be fighting these charges.
My 1st visit was just a consultation and I have to say Dr Robertson was very considerate, knowledgeable and patient while explaining my condition. He was in no rush and answered all my questions entirely.
Dr.Robertson is a Godsend! I went in by ambulance and had energency colon surgery. Dr.Robertson explored all options and explained all consequences and complications that may arise post op. I couldn't have been in better hands! I highly recommend him and his surgical team. I had two angels last Monday night my wife (Sheri) for calling the ambulance when she did and Dr.Robertson for putting me back together.
He was very factual about my procedure but a bit laid back. He made me feel very comfortable at the surgery center with his sense of humor. You can tell the entire surgery staff has high regards for him and can joke back with him when appropriate. Best surgery I ever had!!!! The results have been perfect.
Best doctor.
Very good surgeon, good sense of humor. To e.l. who said he gives up on you, RUBBISH!!!!!!! He said my gall bladder was one of the worse he has seen so his plan was to drain it with a tube inside it for a month until the infection went down. After he saw it was ready to come out , it was a snap, no problem. No complications. He is kind and knows what hes doing, he dont give up on you!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
