I have never experienced a more unethical physician in my entire life. A week after my surgery, when I was still healing and actually had a swelling breast, he was on the phone bullying me and attempting to scam me into paying $9000 cash when I had insurance willing to pay. He threatened that if I didn't pay the $9k, he could go after me for $40k. In addition, I also ended up with two hematomas which needed to be drained in an emergency surgery, and when he sewed me up for that, he didn't take his time and I ended up with a deep indention down the bottom of my breast. He also didn't reduce my breast size by as much as l asked. So I went through months of pain and healing for very little noticeable change. Was the ABSOLUTE WORST medical experience of my life, hands down. I reported him to the Arizona Medical Board. Beware.

I am so lucky to be his patient he's very professional, personable and knowledgeable. He really cares about his patients and goes above and beyond to help them.

Was dishonest with me about my insurance coverage, tried to talk me out of using my insurance, possibly removed less tissue in order to revoke my insurance coverage, and then threatened me on the phone in an effort to get me to pay $9000 cash instead of billing my insurance. He really wanted my money! :( He was also incredibly rude after my surgery and I ended up in the ER with two hematomas and had to have one section of my stitches redone. I am still two cup sizes larger than I requested and have a deep indention down the front of my right breast. Nightmare all the way around. Can't even believe it. :(

Where to begin. After much agonizing, I finally decided to have breast reduction. Dr. Zakhary and office staff tried to talk me out of even attempting to use my insurance, saying that I most likely would not be covered. When my insurance DID agree to cover my procedure Dr. Zakhary then lied to me about my insurance coverage and told me they required a minimum of tissue removal in order for my insurance to pay. He then took out less tissue than he claimed my insurance required and tried to get me to pay cash, saying that he would not even be filing a claim with my insurance company because he did not take out enough tissue. When I told him to bill my insurance he accused me of playing games and threatened to send me a bill for the white procedure, which he said could be up to $40k. Also, got a hematoma, my breasts are not as small as requested, and they have a weird scar. Stay away! Awful experience.

I first met with Dr. Zakhary because I have breast cancer and needed to know my options regarding reconstuction surgery after a mastcectomy. I just have to tell you I truely love Dr. Zakhary. His bedside manner is fantastic. He told me to relax an let him take care of me(you see I was very nervous getting the cancer call). He made me feel that I am going to win this battle all because of his attitude mine changed in the possitive as well. Dr. Zakhary makes me feel like I am one of his family members aand that is a great feeling. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a compassionate, caring understanding surgeon, someone who will truely listen to what you have to say and to what your ideas of what YOU want to have done to your body then YOU HAVE to go see Dr. Zakhary at Elite Plastic Surgery. It will seriously be the BEST call you made all year!!

Amazing doctor .... our family was blessed to have Dr Fisher for many years before he retired ...we were concerned we’d be able to find a comparable Doctor. We sure did Dr Z is amazing, thorough punctual and really looks out for his patients. Jen does a great job at the office and scheduling your follow ups
