Josh Coleman's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Coleman is a psychologist who specializes in family issues and I think is an outstanding professional. I have read his book about estrangement with adult children and have listened to his webinars, etc. He is very dedicated to helping parents and it is amazing how he manages to be so productive and still responds to emails, creates new topics to help parents and families, counsel clients, etc. He is not only very knowledgeable and experienced, has given talks and presentations in different parts of the world, but he is also, I think, a very very kind and good person. A lot of parents have succeeded in resolving problems with estranged adult children from working with him, reading his book, listening to his webinars, etc. He is not a miracle worker, and sometimes reconciliation does not occur, due to a host of problems that are impossible to control,, e.g. substance abuse or mental illness in the estranged adult child, etc etc, and he is the first to admit that his approach is not a panacea. This is an example of his wisdom and honesty. Hence, in addition to trying to help parents and adult children reconcile, he also helps parents cope with the fact that they might never get their lost child back. He gives advice about going on with your life despite losing the child that you love so much, how to take care of yourself despite this pain. Dr. Coleman is one of the very best psychologists that I have ever encountered, and I am a psychologist myself. I have great respect for him and his mission in life, and I believe that he is truly a mensch, i.e. a person of great integrity. I believe that he cares very much about the many people that he tries to help. If it were possible to give more than five stars for this man, I would do it.

Dr. Coleman is terrific! Takes the time to talk to you and is honest about any issue that might come up. I have recommended him to many others and they all come back and tell me how happy they are to find him.

Kind, compassionate therapist who cares.

A group on a golf trip from Peoria, IL area had one of the group require an optometrist. Dr McGhee from a local clinic called Dr. Coleman and he came to his office on Saturday afternoon after hours to examine the individual. He provided excellent care and wrote three perscriptions for the individaul. He has us return after church on Sunday so he could check the individaul before we returned to Illinois. Dr. Coleman was truly the hands of Jesus as he cared for a traveler in need. We want the people of Paris to be aware of the action of this special individual.
