Dr. Farmer is wonderful! I am so blessed we found her! She has helped both my kids so much! My son had to have lots of testing done! Dr. Farmer would call late and on her time off just give me the results!! What a wonderful person! Her nurse Julie is wonderful as well! So blessed for the both of them!

Our daughter ended up at the hospital 6 months ago with pneumonia and ear infections caused by rsv, and Dr. Farmer came by to check on us the next day and stayed for a while. She even was concerned with my well-being, ( also rsv and ear infection) and even checked on me. Sweet like a mom. Stayed till amost 10 pm i believe after a long day at the office. Dr. Farmer's son is very nice and professional as well and he took care of our baby at the hospital as well. I thank them both for the care.

She is an absolute JOKE! She refuses to listen when told of chronic symptoms. My kid has been had chronic breathing issues since she was 1 and this hack still refuses to diagnose her with asthma, even though she will give her an albuterol inhaler, nebulizer, steroids out the wazoo, codeine based drugs... but listen to parents for a diagnosis?? Not a chance! If your child sees her get her notes. They are contradictory. Once section will say 1 thing then the exact opposite will be in another!!

My last experience with Dr. Farmer when I was 16. My mother brought me in for a wellness check and Dr. Farmer proceeded to ask me about sexual activity. I was honest and told her yes, but instead of informing me of different birth control methods and treating me as her patient instead of my mothers daughter, she decided to tell me to abstain because I was too young. So unprofessional. I would advise her to keep her beliefs away from her job. I’m still so angry at her for telling me what my mother wanted to hear, versus what I, her PATIENT, needed. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office. Never would I ever refer a friend or family member to her.

Dr Farmer and the First Choice staff have taken such good care of both our daughters since 2008. Parents and children alike are fortunate to have this group here in Johnson City.

My son has been seeing this doctor since birth . Dr. Farmer is the most caring doctor I have ever met ! She always will do anything she can to make sure care is right !! Not just spending ten minutes with a patient then leaving ! She listens and cares about each patient she sees!! My son has cystic fibrosis and he had a very rough time when he was younger no matter what time of the day or night I needed her she was always there!!!!!! I would recommend her to everyone I know!!she is an excellent doctor!!!!

shes a great caring doctor. i appreciate how much she listens and how complete her exams are. she takes her times and makes the kids very comfortable with her. she is always pleasant and concerned.
