Yet another State of Franklin doctor that is accepting new patients yet will not accept me as a new patient -- WITHOUT EXPLANATION. Everyone raves about State of Franklin yet this isn't the first SoF doctor which has rejected me as a new patient without reason and without ever meeting them in person.

Was excited to have found an internist since moving here but think I chose poorly. Went in for a physical and was referred for a "preventative care" colonoscopy. I even called the office prior to scheduling the procedure to confirm that it was covered under "preventative care" as my insurance was very restrictive. I was told it was "preventative care" only to receive bills totaling $3,000 because it wasn't coded as such. After repeated calls and voicemails on my part with not returned calls, I was informed that there was nothing that they could so except put it on a payment plan. So much for preventative care...BEWARE!!!!!

Pleasant, low-key, & knowledgeable. Listens to the patient & provides good information & alternatives. Usually responds to website texts within 24 hr. I recommend him & I am a physician myself.
