Dr. Costello does above & beyond. Very specialized & knowledgeable.

Don’t go here. Takes money and give you liquid drops that don’t heal. Just makes your pain go on.

2009 patient of hers & sure wish I had her again now. Cervical spinal & lumbar spinal surgeries were both successful and I am pain free with both today. Although I now have thoracic pain. I wouldn't hesitate to see her again.

Pretty much ignored me. Had 7 or so vials of blood drawn two years ago and I still don't have results. No follow up and is charging me for 5-10 minutes of time if that.

Most unprofessional office I’ve ever dealt with. Every time I had an appointment they would call to reschedule me weeks later. The receptionist is so rude and would hang up on me every time I spoke with her.

I am only giving her a star because zero isn't possible. Her bedside manner and business practices are disgusting. At the very 1st appointment I could tell she was brusque and battle hardened. Instead of having you come in her office and sit on an exam table, she has you sit in her office while she dictates to you from behind her power desk. She doesn't examine you at all. I saw her for Lyme disease and Epstein Barr treatment, which she claims to be an expert in, when she ordered a ton of tests, which I initially thought was a good thing, but during the follow up appointment, she didn't even bother explaining the test results to me. I also found out later that she believes every disease known to man is caused by heavy metal poisoning, and if you don't pay her exorbitant heavy metal testing prices, she dismisses you as a patient. She also refers any of her patients with amalgam fillings to her boyfriend for removal, insisting no one else is capable. However, she only dismisses you as a patient after she's used you as a verbal punching bag and belittled you to the smallest and most insignificant possible emotional state. Even if you're sitting in her power office crying and begging for help, she dismisses you, calls you out on your psychoemotional state, then forces you to leave. She should have remained a surgeon, since she's only qualified to deal with unconscious patients, however, I wouldn't be surprised if she left that profession because even the unconscious patients couldn't tolerate her. Save yourself years of therapy, expensive useless testing, and lost faith in alternative medicine, and forget you ever heard her name.

It’s been a bit of a mixed bag... I went into this knowing she was holistic and trying to keep an open mind. It’s strange that she never conducted any kind of physical exam, only sat behind a desk and shared her “facts” on what was wrong. She definitely has an offputting manner, but being in so much pain for so many years, plus being referred to her by a doctor, made me try to look past it. The first big problem was when she ordered a urine test for metals. She never told me it was by somewhere that didn’t accept insurance, so they called after I had sent in the sample for my surprise $110 bill. Then the slew of blood tests came back and the lab voiced some concerns about how she had it laid out and such so it made it difficult, which was odd. Fourteen vials later, I finally got a diagnosis of valley fever. Something that’s apparently common but never tested for. I was extremely grateful for that, but also confused because she assured me that all of my symptoms were “definitely” from this one diagnosis, even though no medical journals online agree. Anyways, she said that doctors diagnose antifungals to treat this, but she’d prefer to go the detox and diet change route instead. I tried for two months, but I have four young kids, a low carb diet to fix liver issues (which she dismissed as faulty and that her detox would fix that), but I wasn’t feeling improvement and it was getting harder and harder. Two weeks ago, I called saying that’d I prefer to just do the antifungals and the receptionist said she’d call me right back. Long story short, she basically said she wouldn’t write me the rx and would send all my info to my primary care doctor (when I said I didn’t want to buy her detox tea and just wanted the rx), but my primary care doctor still doesn’t have it. The receptionist lied once saying she’d called and left a message (she definitely didn’t) after a week and a half of trying to get this done. My health has been deteriorating so I want the meds to finally start my healing and figure out what is really causing what. So while I’m extremely grateful for the diagnosis, there’s definitely issues with professionalism. And if she’s not capable of prescribing meds, or just unwilling, I don’t understand how she still calls herself an MD. It’s been more frustrating and ostracizing than anything.

I suffered for 10 years going to doctor after doctor who either misdiagnosed me or try to shove pills down my throat. Dr. Costello was extremely thorough, found the cause(s) of my illness and had me back to work in 3 short months. She saved my life!!!
