My husband and I experienced difficulty in getting Dr. Paula Smith to LISTEN to us. I explained to her that I am a critical care RN and that my husband's oxygen saturation readings were low. She was argumentative with me and was going to discharge him home with NO oxygen. I ask that she please keep him one more night to observe his O2 sats & she begrudgingly agreed. Yes, indeed he DID & still DOES need oxygen all day & night. She came in the next day and was as COLD as ice! Steer clear!!!

If you are elderly, please don't let this doctor attend to you. She is not very competent. She works as a Hospitalist for MSHA Hospitals, and will leave your loved ones to die. She is pompous, arrogant, and doesn't know her head, from a hole in the ground. I'll be blogging about this hospital, and this doctor in the near future. Please take good care of anyone elderly in your family. If you come across this poor excuse for a doctor, run don't walk.
