I like James Battle he was a great doctor. They switched me to doctors Peter Lemkin which I do not like his attitude. I had a bad cataract couldn't see out of my left eye he told me that I would need surgery one day. And I told him no I needed it now!!!! Made me think I need a different doctor. Who really cares about there patients!!!!
I had cataract surgery on both eyes at the Johnson City Office. The surgical staff were great, but after a couple months my eyes were worse than before the surgery. I went back in for another procedure which did not help. I was told that my eyes were just dry. After many bottles of drops I still can not see as well as I did before the surgery. I can't see with my glasses or without. My biggest complaint is the billing dept. I argued with billing for months that all my copays were paid but they still sent me bills. I even had the insurance co. talk to them. I finally paid the extra just to keep it was going to collections. They took some of the money I paid for the surgery and used it to cover a regular visit which confused everyone. I will never go back to this facility again. I worked in Ins. billing for years and have never come across something like this before. I should have just never had the original surgery and I would have been able to see better.
Enjoyed all the staff there and the office dog. Everyone treated me like family which help ease my anxiety before having surgery on my eyes.
nice staff . Dr is a stand up man that tells you the truth. in my husbands words just tell me and I can understand. Dr Reeves very good fella! He listens and that's worth a lot .
Cataract surgery and after care...very pleasant people. The doctor is good about putting you at ease. I love seeing Romeo. I think more do tors should have a dog in the office. Anyone that cares for an animal is a caring person. Thank you Doctor Reeves and staff and door greeter.
Donny Reeves is compassionate and determined to make sure the best is done for a person's eyes. Staff are Friendly and knowledgeable.
We used to go here and they used to be easy to work with but looks like there's been many changes and we'll be having to find a new provider. My kids start school at 830am so the best I can do is 830-9am for my other child for an appointment. Never an issue in the past (appointments at 1240pm, 1240pm and 1030am). Now all of a sudden, it's "Dr. Reeves policy" to only see kids at 730am. If true, shame on you. Just because your kids are grown doesn't mean the rest of ours are. How quickly we forget the busy school mornings and all the moms/ dads/ guardians trying to get everyone where they need to be safe, sound and on time!
They take your money up front. Then if you end up with a credit they WILL NOT refund it!
Dr Reeves is the best I will not let anyone else look at my eyes. He's the best!!!!
I am 77 years old with multiple health issues. I went to Dr. Reeves and Dr. Gentry who did the first exams and follow up, Dr. Gentry said he had over 40 years experience in this field. I had Dr. Reeves do cataract surgery on both eyes, and follow-up with a laser procedure. I have worn prescription reading glasses for 35 years or more. I don't need them anymore great vision. Highly recommend Dr. Reeves. Nothing but the highest professional services all thru the procedures.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
