List of Roland Huffaker's Reviews
I feel no woman should trust this office with her body. Negativity permeates there, but the main complaint is a nervous, tense, uptight, oily haired, disheveled, pushy nurse practitioner named Jennifer.I accompanied my partner to her appointments. My partner is 4’11” and was born with a genetic disorder. On our first visit,I felt the tenseness while in the waiting room, seeing the nurse practitioner Jennifer as she walked into the space of the office receptionists. She looked completely distressed, uptight, and angry in facial expression and body language, and I hoped that she would not be the one working with my partner.Unfortunately, she was. When we got called, the nurse taking my partner's vitals was trying to talk about her own personal experience of having the surgery my partner was there to inquire about(we were also there to have a physical procedure done that day).Suddenly, the Jennifer woman burst in,all tense and uptight, and berated the nurse, telling her to hurry up because "I can't do my part until you finish your part."Right in front of us.Obviously, this did not put my partner, who was already nervous about her upcoming procedure,at ease, and was of course completely unprofessional. I went to the waiting room while the Jennifer woman performed the physical procedure on her.Consequently,I should have stayed to protect her,and you better believe I would have if I had been in there.I sat outside the open doorway to the exam room hallway.I heard my partner cry out in pain.I didn't go back there because she only did it once, and we were in a doctor's office where they're supposed to know how to deal with that.My mistake.Shortly,I heard two nurses, very possibly the nurse and the Jennifer woman, snickering under their breaths with each other in that hallway, with the strong possibility that they thought my partner crying out in pain was somehow funny. Later, the doctor himself comes out and asks me to go to my partner's room for a discussion of surgery options. He seemed unhappy and never looked either of us in the eye.I was not impressed. Later,my partner said that the Jennifer woman caused her a lot of pain and did not try to be gentle at all;in fact, she said it felt like things were being very roughly jammed inside of her and that the Jennifer woman actually got angry that my partner was in pain, which is a completely idiotic, inappropriate attitude from someone who works in the medical profession. The next visit,we saw the Jennifer woman snap at a receptionist in front of the waiting room.So on both visits, she snapped at her co-workers right in front of us. This time,my partner had the other nurse(the one who took vitals on the first visit)do the same physical procedure.Again, I was out in the waiting room, and once again,I wish I had been in there. My partner started feeling pain, and the nurse snapped at her, just like the Jennifer woman had,and it was decided that the physical procedure would not be done. Later,my partner called the office and was connected to the Jennifer woman before she could tell them that all she wanted was to just leave a quick message. The Jennifer woman got on the line with an attitude, and when my partner told her that she wasn't being given the chance to speak, the Jennifer woman told her that "we don't have a good therapeutic relationship."True-because of the Jennifer woman's childish attitude and behavior. We only accepted disrespect, and I only let them get away with it,because my partner was desperate for help for a serious condition, but never again will we accept that kind of treatment,no matter how desperate. Except for the receptionists, this office should be ashamed of itself.Anyone who is stressed, cannot handle pressure, and does not know how to deal with people has no business being in medicine, much less working with women's bodies. We have been to others here, including two amazing doctors,Dr. Lindsay Remy and Dr. Mark Withrow, and we were treated very well. The contrast with this office is striking.
I cannot say enough about Dr. Huffaker and his staff. Very professional and full of compassion and care. Thank you for your service to me and being so kind.
Going to them 6 months. Great results.
I saw Dr. Huffaker on 9-14-21. He was courteous, patient, listed to my concerns, answered my questions and provided me with education and several options to address my issue. His staff is friendly and professional (front desk and nurses). I was seen within less than 10 minutes of my arrival. I have never had major surgery and was hoping to avoid it, but after talking with Dr. Huffaker I feel the choice I made (from the many options offered) I will be in good hands and provided with the best care. Nothing was sugar coated. I got the good, the bad, and the ugly. I was not sold or told, but made to feel part of the treatment team. That is a new experience for me and one I will now hold as the standard for any future dealings I have with doctors. Still nervous about the upcoming surgery, but not about my choice as to who will be doing the surgery and the follow-up to come.
My experience with Dr Huffaker has been exceptional! He is a wonderful doctor! His credentials are impeccable! His office staff and nurses are THE best! My care was handled with the utmost professionalism and kindness! I will forever be indebted to Dr Huffaker for the success of my operation and care!
The office and staff are amazing. One star is for the fact there is no after hours number. They share an office with fertility, same phone number..yet when I called for after hours I was told its fertility only and then know nothing about urology and even questioned the fact of the shared office. I walk in the doors that say fertility and uro-gyno on an almost weekly basis. So what the heck? Odd.
The staff are very friendly and as for dr. Huffaker he is a very good doctor.. highly recommend him
Amazing and accomidatidating staff all around they have all gone above and beyond my only complaint has been the answering service and the staff handled that situation immediately and on point!! Would highly recommend this office to anyone who needed them.
He is judgemental about patients, assumes they are drug addicts
He was very thorough and explained everything he did. After his extensive exam he requested additional tests on the following days. I feel confident that he left no stone unturned and I am truly healthy. Getting older has its disadvantages but having doctors like Dr. Huffaker gives you peace of mind. Very professional in every sense of the word! It's hard to find someone that is a certified urologist and gynocologist, an answer to a woman's prayer. He's an expert's expert!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
