Saba Aziz's Online Review Report Card

Since I started treatment with Dr. Aziz my diabetes is much improved. Time in Range and A1c are both better than they have been in some time. Both her style and her knowledge are exactly what I look for in a Doctor and the results speak for themselves. Thank you Doctor.

I’ve now been to her office twice and I really like her. I’m in my 70s now and I’ve been to a lot of doctors. She is very thorough and efficient. I needed to get some medicine and I need to get it through a specific insurance company and she left the room for two seconds OK maybe five minutes and she came back and said my insurance excepts my medication. I was really worried about that because without my insurance I could not of afforded it. She is a little ball of fire and I like my doctors like that. A lot of times when she’s not speaking I can tell she’s thinking of solutions. As far as I’m concerned she is a highly efficient, well educated and really cares about her patients. Give her a try I think most people would really love her. DM

Awful. We show up and get rescheduled before we even see the Doctor. Both times because the Doctor didn't have time.

Dr. Aziz is a nice person and all but one staff member is friendly. She is quiet, not strong on communication, but she spent time with me and entertained my questions. It took a long time to get my first appointment. During a scary crisis, I found that it was surprisingly difficult to get a response from anyone: office, nurse, nor doc. There appears to be no backup nor rush. Two days following a potential choking episode, goiter swelling into my esophagus and windpipe, I could get no advice or call back. Treated in ER and after several hours she advised doc and suggested my return visit with her X 6 weeks. One of the highest priorities in selecting a physician should be availability during crisis. Confidence is everything. I lost confidence in this doctor and her staff therefore decided not to return.

A nice person I'm sure, but does not communicate much. I always had the feeling she was concerned about something but she often never communicated her thoughts - she would ask her assistant to feel here; ask me to swallow. I called her re a lump on my neck one day - her reaction appropriate- sent me to radiology but one day, the growth swelled into my chest, windpipe and esophogus, I could not get anyone in her office to advise/return my calls after 2 days, knowing the nature of the emergency and my panic, office said "we have your messages and you will have to wait for her call.". I felt abandoned 2 days - no call. Terrified I went to ER - ER doc finally able to get thru to her after many hours and was advised, lower medication and see me in 6 weeks. 6 weeks? Lowered medication - same outcome. Got appt sameday internal med surgeon and after surgery, did not return. No patient should fear strangulation alone. All parties dropped the ball. Not good.

While Dr. Aziz is a very nice person, she shows no interest in fully explaining reasons behind her actions and does not invite patient participation in decision making. Additionally, Dr. Aziz (through her nurse) is extremely difficult to contact when issues arise.
