Rude and abrupt. Would not explain what treatment he had provided but said he could not help me. I don't take pills, I only want shots in my areas of arthritis. "They have worked for me before and I know that is not what he gave me. He would not explain or listen to me.

I had to have a injection in my spine. Did awesome job. Told me everything he was going to do. Did awesome job... He explain everything to me!!very happy.

Loud Obnoxious voice. The nurse warned me about prior to him entering. He was not knowledgeable about pain associated with multiple conditions. He was puzzled. Do not waste your time with this Dr you will leave out of his office with no resolution to the pain you are experiencing.

I Saw Dr Ward in his Kingsport office for 6 to 7 years. I am not a doctor shopper or pill seeker. I hung. In for as long as I could, but this practice and Dr Ward is the Worst anyone could go to. Dr Ward and all his staff are more miserable than the people they treat. He threatened me several times about just sending me back to my Primary Care doctor because I would not allow him to inject my spine again. I told him that the pain I am feeling from the last shot has almost crippled me and I have a ongoing low grade fever from what He injected and it has been almost 12 months. He told me that meant it was working. after I heard him say this, I knew he is Not a Doctor that I would ever want to see! It took me a few months to find the place I go to now! Great people, great place. I would not recommend my worst enemy to go see Dr Ward.

Quack did not read my files just started spouting off what he was taking me off of please go somewhere else if you want a real doctor

Biggest Quack I have ever saw did not read my file only started telling me what he was taking me off of and what tests he was ordering I had to tell dr. quack I already had the tests he was ordering he had to read my file in front of me then. Stay awaw from this quack.

Dr. Ward seem to have no knowledge of what my pain was and had no idea of how to treat it! I hope he knows how to help some because I had to find a doctor who treats me with respect and helps with my daily pain! I have had great results for several years now with a different doctor in Virginia.

I have had chronic back pain for almost 40 years. Dr Ward has been absolutely awesome. I have been seen him for over 2 years now.

If you don't like to be screamed at in front of patients and staff and be called a drug addict, you may not wish to see this doctor! I asked a simple question about getting a short prescription for pain meds and was told by the nurse practitioner that these meds were not prescribed at this clinic. I accepted her answer with dignity, scheduled my appointment for the final surgery of burning the nerves in my upper spine and while waiting chit chatted with another patient who told me he had been getting them for eight years! I asked to speak again with the nurse and was referred to Dr. Ward. He has anger management issues and was very aggressive towards me. Now, I have no surgery after two long years of struggle with my neck pain. He doesn't care about his patients and didn't even take a drug screen since my very first appointment nine months ago. He doesn't know me and I was just a number to him. My personal reputation has been slandered due to his lies. I have never seen the letter!

My experience with Ward is in line with the others reported here. I had been seeing John Powell from this practice for years, but then he unfortunately (for me & his other patients) retired. I fell to the mercies of Christine Bagley and Ward, two birds of a feather. I’m seeking pain relief elsewhere.
