Don't take your kids here. These reviews are low for a reason. They lie, the doctor my kids seen were terrible. Just don't do it

Spent a month trying to get a referral to a feeding specialist. A MONTH, that my daughter spent in absolute agony, with tummy issues. I had to chase them down, almost daily, until I gave up and drove over to demand the referral in person. Now, my daughter was prescribed meds, and the pharmacy sent a request in for refills, almost two weeks ago. They never responded until I called. I will be looking for another pediatrician. I should have after the issues with getting a referral faxed. Beware.

too judgmental. Ask too many unnecessary, irrelevant questions just to dig for dirt. Going to the doctor didnt used to be this way.

(for the elizabethton office)I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. the nurses are fantastic but the doctor doesn't know what he's doing. i took my daughter there and told him she was severely constipated and he told me not to worry about it until she started to throw up bile. (Obviously I didn't let it get to that point but I couldn't believe that he would even suggest that )

Unless you enjoy sitting in the doctors office all day, i wouldn't recommend this office. Also since covid hit appointments are far and few in between. God luck getting an appt. Also Its like pulling ears to get referrals for your children as well. And after sitting in the office all day long you think they would hurry to get you out the door but no they still want their students to take a look at your child. Their time management skills are very poor and they dont take your concerns seriously!

I was seen as an Adult in the Genetics Department, and I found the Staff to all be friendly and professional. I showed up two days early for a test, lol, and had another scheduled also the next day so they worked it for both tests on the same day. I drive from Bristol so that was great. I got one Genetic related diagnosis the first visit and just got the results from two other tests. I can highly recommend ETSU Genetics Department.

The front office staff was very polite and answered all my questions. Medical staff was great! My daughter felt comfortable and listened to. Highly recommend.

I'm not a fan of this place. I told them from birth till 8 months that my daughter had something wrong with her lungs. I even took her to four sick visits in the middle of what was most likely asthma attacks and they could never find anything wrong despite how weezy she would be! It took a week long hospitalization over just a cold and switching pediatricians to finally get the referral that I needed for a pulmonologist!

We normally see Dr gage and she is wonderful. However, we were seen by Dr Gibson today. I keep my children up to date on their shots, but I only allow 2 shots at a time. Then I follow up in a week or two for whatever is left. She did not like this and was very rude. Even went as far as threatened to kick us out and not see my children anymore. ( oh no, there’s hundreds of doctors out there that will see them). I have never had a doctor treat me the way she did over how I prefer my children to get their shots. Very unprofessional. As long as they are up to date, how I have them done should not be a concern of hers. My views did not align with hers so instead of accepting that, she attacked me.

Dr. Gage is the WORST doctor there is!!! Very irresponsible to send refills or even to send a prescription!! Terrible doctor at the time of check up and its NOT the first time it happens! I have been trying for this lady! To send my daughter's nebulizer medicine and its been days and nothing! And I call and she is on vaca😡
