Alicia Wright's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Wright has been my daughters pediatrician since she was 5 days old. Shes caught many health problems quickly. She has always been there not only diagnosing my child but explaining the conditions and treatments with me. I can feel her genuine concern and care for my child. Shes an amazing doctor.

I have 15 years of experience in Emergency Medicine and both my girls see Dr Wright. My wife and I spent nearly a month researching pediatricians in the area and talking to doctors I worked with before deciding on a handful of possible providers. After interviewing them we decided on Doctor Wright. The time and effort was worth it. It is difficult to find a doctor who is pleasant to be around while still maintaining honesty and so good at their profession however Dr Wright more than checks the boxes. The other pediatricians we have seen at HMG in Kingsport when she has been unavailable have also been very good.

Dr. Wright is the best She is caring thorough and intelligent

I would not recommend her. She said my newborn did not gain enough weight and made me give him formula to supplement breast milk. He actually did gain enough I checked with the health department. She expected him to gain like formula fed babies. Breast feeding makes them gain slower. I havent offered him formula in weeks and he is fine. She was very pushy to get him re weighed and they made an appt on a day I said I couldnt make it. They are rude and dont know anything about breastfeeding.

I will NEVER see her again unless its a last resort she misdiagnosed mt son at urgent She was extremely rude with me She LAUGHED when I told her my concerns she had a bad attitude and did not even look at the thing we came in for a visit for. Wouldnt recommend her to anyone.

she is the most amazing doctor she really has a way of explaining things right down to what it really is I would definitly recommend her love her so much

I just had a beautiful baby daughter I wanted to do the best thing and breastfeed my child. Honestly my husband and I were not sure what to do once we got home with our daughter. We were not sure if she was getting enough milk if her sleep was normal or if her gas was ok. We went to see Dr. Wright for our first newborn checkup and she put us at total ease. She was knowledgable and extremely helpful concerning breastfeeding. She spent a great deal of time talking to us about taking care of our daughter and what was normal and what was not. By the time we left the office we felt much better about taking care of our baby at home and ensuring that she was getting enough breastmilk. Dr. Wright is a superb pediatrician choice for a breastfeeding mom

I can always count on Dr. Wright. I feel that she is REALLY interested in the physical and emotional health of my two children. She explains everything well and then she offers options to me that are appropriate. We can then make a decision together. My child has an unusual birthmark in a difficult location and she offered me choices of how to deal with the problem and what the pros and cons of each choice were. I really appreciated this. I have had too many doctors just tell me what to do without telling me why in the past. She treats my children and me with respect and kindness. She is a great kids doctor.

My granddaughter has seen another pediatrician for years. One night in the after hours clinic we ran across Dr. Wright. Even though we were there for a sore throat she noticed a neck rash that can lead to future diabetes talked to us about her menstrual cycles and helped us with a plan to work on her weight. She was interested in my granddaughter and making sure that her total health was addressed. We have switched to Dr. W and we have already learned quite a bit about how to better deal with my granddaughters health needs. Dr. Wright really made us wake up to several issues and we are grateful
