My son had bad seizers Sat first time ever so hes not in his right mind and I proved that to several of the staff nurse sitter and Dr. And they still did a psyc evaluation on him and now noone can visit make sure he gets something down him fluid or ensure Hes not on iv he dont know who the president is what yr it is his kids names his dogs names the color of his car ect. He sais yes to everything and laughs at everything but I cant even get nurse Dr or case management to even call me about his EEG or MRI. He cant move his arms or ask for a drink so are they just letting him lay there and starve to death with strangers? IDK cause im his mother and I guess I dont deserve answers

My Dad was recently in this hospital and it was the worst experience of our lives... His nurse Colten sucked I was so glad once they switched my dads nurse because Colten had a careless attitude BALLAD HEALTH you need to have a better selection of those who you put in your hospitals to work cause this nurse definitely offended me and my family wont be back that for sure

My husband went to the ER with chest pain. The nurse took him right back did an EKG in a matter of minutes. The EKG showed something going on and they took him right back and worked on him immediately They saved his life

If I could give a zero I would. The ER staff was rude spoke in a derogatory manner about patients loud enough for anyone to hear both in the waiting room where a man asking for help fell out of his chair while staff ignored him and rolled their eyes for everyone to see and in the ER where the rudeness was incredible. Questions were answered angrily at times but mostly it was short half answers.

Disgusting rude and unprofessional is a very polite way to describe this place. My wife waited hours just to hear results that she already knew due to her having the Ballad App. If I could put zero stars I would. Don’t trust these inconsiderate people with your healthcare. Go somewhere that treats patients with respect and care.

Amy Fulgate signed discharge papers but not once did I see her. No one ever talked to me. WORST EMERGENCY ROOM EVER. I definitely wouldn’t take a squirrel there to die.

Ok holston valley has always made patients wait for very long wait times if you go to the er.. everyone knows that so I started going to Indian path lot faster shirt an sweet an you were on your way..had to go to holston valley for my 5 ye old grandson..we had to call ambulance now I expected long wait time as usual because the hospital has changed but the wait time is same ole same ole..The doctor was wearing jeans first of all an the hole 5 hours I was there not 1 nurse or doctor told me what was wrong with my grandson..not 1 person said anything more than he needs a breathing treatment.not 1 person..never go back no matter what.

My dad has been to Bristol several times and sent home not doing any better than before he went. He was admitted two times after long hours in the ER with breathing problems. Even when asking the RN in The Bristol ER questions she shook her head and said “I have no idea”. This time After calling his kidney doctor the nurse that I spoke with said that her family goes to Holston Valley Medical Center. After a couple of hours in the ER we saw a complete turn around. My dad has not felt this good in a long time. The staff has been wonderful. They answered all of our questions. They immediately started working with my dad as soon as he got here. They used equipment that we had never even seen at Bristol. He gets to go home today and this time we feel good knowing that he is being taken care of. A BIG THANK YOU to Holston Valley Medical Center
