My PCP office made an appointment for me, but my symptoms were so sever that I wanted to see Dr Shone sooner.One brief phone call and I got an earlier appointment!Staff is friendly and helpful.

Very professional and kind. After all gallbladder tests coming back normal and pain being gone, I still wanted a second opinion of what could be happening. Even though I felt ridiculous keeping my appt since symptoms were mostly gone (after having them off/on for a year), he listened to my concerns. Gave another simple test for another possibility and offered steps to take if pain/issues arise in the future. Great doctor & staff.

I meet with Dr. Shone and he is a very nice man. He wanted me to have a CT done and a Endoscopy . Will the nurse gave me papers. Then My Ct was not approved by BlueCare. And for 2 days I have called everyone about the CT, well they said I did not need it and some said I did. And They told me Dr. Shone was the one to get it approved. Okay so I call his office and they said they would call me back. The next day a women named Michelle call and left a number to call back I did. She was on lunch. Called again. Finally I told them I would cancel the Endoscopy in a hour if someone can not call me and tell me something. Then I get a call and this woman said she was working with BlueCare but they wanted more information. Then she said I could check. I said to cancel Endoscopy. She said I should not do that because of throat cancer. But I would not do till I had a CT. And than this woman accused me of calling her a lair and yelled at me I hung up and canceled Appointment called BlueCare

Dr. Shone is the sweetest doctor! Most doctor are so rude if your over weight. He’s only mentioned it once and said if I lose like 5% that it’ll help with fatty liver! He’s amazing!

He's a bit loud. Suspect he might be hard of hearing. From South Africa with an accent. Very clearly spoken. Direct and communicates excellently. Saved my life by taking me on with Hep C. Put me on the fast track to getting as much done during that year, as my deductible has already been met. Very thankful.

I wish there was a way to retract the review I left above where I gave him one star. He is helping, whereas before I thought he was not. I am definitely the same person and this is the ONLY way I knew of to set the record straight and right my error.
