Dr, Abu-Shahin was very informative and attendant at all times. He took the time to explain answers to my questions both prior to and post surgery. I was pleased that he checked in before surgery and again immediately after which comforted me very much. I would happily recommend Dr. Abu-Shahin.

Dr. Abu Shahin is wonderful. I was referred to him by my gynecologist who could not perform my hysterectomy because my fibriods were too large. He worked me in that day. He had me scheduled for surgery within a week and half. He was very kind, calm and reassuring. He answered all my questions and I had many. After my surgery, the follow up care was excellent. I was blessed to not have cancer. He made the entire experience as easy as possible. I would highly recommend him to everyone. His office staff is so nice and very helpful. I have never been happier with a dr and greatly appreciate the level of care I received

I was referred to him after a diagnosis of Endometrial cancer. He told me his plan in a calm, kind and knowledge way. He was reassuring but straight forward. Cancer diagnosis is terrifying, Dr Abu Shahin made it less terrifying.

Could not say enough good things about this man! As a cancer patient you need a doctor who is compassionate, that listens to you and who genuinely cares and believes in you! He does all those things. He treated a very rare cancer that I have. Every step of the way, what he told me would happen has! Today I am cancer free! We will miss him terribly since leaving Kingsport hematology! But wish him success wherever he goes!

I would highly recommend Dr. Shahin to anyone. He is always positive and upbeat. He never acts like he is in a hurry and addresses any problems you might have with compassion and honesty. He is very professional but also tries to personalize each visit by asking about your family, etc. He has always made me feel comfortable going through such a serious illness. Great doctor!
