James Beckner's Online Review Report Card

I LOVE, LOVE Dr. Beckner. He is a compassionate person who takes time with his patients and goes the extra mile. He has been my GYN for the last 15 years. When my sister, sister in law, and my mom heard how much I liked him as a doctor they all switched and think he is amazing too. My adult daughter now also sees him. He really listens. He is conservative in his medical practice in the sense that if he thinks there is even a chance that the symptoms you have could be something seriously wrong, he will do the tests for the serious thing just to be sure. Thank goodness because I am not trying to get any kind of cancer and die. He has even seen me before office hours because I live out of town and had a breast lump scare. He is an involved parent, and he advocates for his patients. I live 5 hours away now and drive in once a year for my exam. That is how much I trust him. He is always concerned about my comfort and worries if he has to do anything that will hurt me.

Dr Beckner has been my doctor for years. He delivered 2 of my 4 children and provided excellent care. He always asked about my overall well-being, including homelife. I think he could sense something was wrong well before I recognized it myself. He is a wonderful doctor.

I can only say nice things about Dr Beckner. He always takes the time to answer my questions and provides exceptional care to me. Highly recommend

I have been going to Dr.Beckner for years. He is caring, takes the time to listen , and is down to earth. He delivered my second daughter via c section and did a wonderful job. He also was concerned about other medical issues I had that at the time my poor excuse for a family doctor was not taking care of. One of the best around. Lisa is awesome too. You will not go wrong in choosing him.

He delivered my son. I didn't want him to, the hospital said I had to let him because he was the last OBGYN I saw.. even though he hurt me during an exam. He's not gentle at all. He wasn't gentle stitching me up, either, and one of the stitches ended up tearing. Also, for some reason he lied to CPS and said I failed the drug test at the hospital. The CPS lady even said the medical info they were sent said no drugs were found in my system.. :/

Dr Beckner cared more about husbands desire for a epidural than my desire for a natural delivery !

He never listened to my concerns or took them seriously. I wish I had changed doctors much sooner than I did. I do not trust his judgement. He can also be very condescending.

I was extremely disappointed in Dr. Beckner. I have a medical background and really did not want an induction for my third delivery. He did not seem to care about my desire for a natural delivery and did not value what I had to say. He only cared about scheduling an induction to make my HUSBAND happy. My HUSBAND was not giving birth. I felt he did not care about me. Women have been giving birth naturally for a long time but I guess he does not believe in natural childbirth. I don ‘t need a doctor that does not care what I have to say !

I was very disappointed in Dr. Beckner. I wanted s natural delivery and he wanted to schedule an induction. I had inductions with my first and second deliveries. I wanted a natural delivery for my third pregnancy. He never told me I that an induction was medically necessary. I felt he did not listen or care about my birth plan or my feelings !
