I found Dr. Summers to be a very nice and friendly doctor. He was prompt, & helpful. However, on my 1st visit he dilated my eyes, & I had to drive myself home. I've never had my eyes dilated before, & didn't know what to expect. I could barely see driving home that day. I also found that he diagnosed one of my eyes wrong. He basically asked me what my last prescription from my previous optometrist was, & matched it. However, my left eye had weakened since my previous diagnosis, & I needed a stronger prescription. The major issue I have with Dr. Summers, isn't with him at all. The receptionist are very rude. They eat their lunch at the front desk, & act as if you're annoying them by just showing up for your appointment. I found the staff to be very snooty, & very indifferent about any concerns you may have. For this reason I will not be going back.

Dr. Jeffrey Summers is a very uncaring doctor who thinks only about the almighty dollar and not about his patient's welfare. I would not recommend anyone to use this doctor. I owed him money from an office visit and he refused to refill my prescriptions, which are vital to my health, until I paid what I owed him. When I went in to pay, I was told by his nurse, Tammy, that I had been fired and was to never come back to his office ever again. All I wanted was to get my medication refilled as I had been out of it for four days, but I was treated like I was beneath them and was told by Tammy that that is what I get for being delinquent on my account. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE!
