Joseph Morin's Online Review Report Card

**PSA: Please read and see pictures**This review is about my own appalling experience with R. Morin, and I am aware that there are others who had very similar experiences. After two rhinoplasty surgeries due to poor results, over $16,000, countless follow-up medical consultations, and years of mental, emotional and physical trauma, I feel that I must speak out to prevent this from happening to anyone else. In summary, I trusted him and his staff, and falsely believed that they had my best interest at heart. But instead, I am horrified that he blatantly chose to go against my wishes on what I wanted to do with my nose, my face; I woke up from surgery with completely different results from what was discussed!! He purposely chose to ignore my requests (one of which was to completely trim down the bump on the bridge of my nose). His lack of attention to detail left very obvious asymmetry: clear septal deviation/bulge to one side, overexposed nostrils and uneven thickness between the right and left side of my nose, and a droopy tip - all evident to the untrained eye and to other surgeons. When I expressed my outrage at what he had done, I was verbally abused and was called "crazy" and told that I "need[ed] to see a therapist" because his results was the best that any surgeon could have done. He should not be practicing!! He does not understand how his actions impacts others and how it can debilitate someone for the rest of their lives. His complete LACK of professional behavior/respect/compassion for his patients, his incompetence and his arrogance makes him a danger to the community that he is supposed to serve.

I'm in disbelief as a write this review. I found Dr. Morin on Instagram and decided to give him a shot at his NYC office after cross checking other reviews sites and seeing his amazing reputation across the board. Came in for lip filler (Juverderm Ultra XC) half syringe to top me off after my last session with another doctor 6-7 months ago. I am SHOOK over his expertise and technique with filler!!1- I didn't need numbing cream and my eyes didn't even water (clearly has the lightest hand ever) which has never happened to me before, my eyes typically will ALWAYS water2- Dr. Morin filled half my top lip and had me check it in the mirror. I was beyond pleasantly surprised at the difference3- He's really funny and makes you feel very comfortable! 4- His staff is super sweet, the girls chat with you like they've known you for years in his office which also made me feel very comfortable (Jackie is the cutest)5- He won't make you look like an overfilled duck. I told him how much projection I wanted in my top lip (hoping to match my fuller bottom lip) and he worked on me ever so conservatively, doing a minimal amount at a timeOverall, I can confidently say he's the best doctor I've ever seen for juverderm, hands down. But no wonder he understands the face so well-- he's also a craniofacial surgeon!

If you need a doctor that will make you feel comfortable, safe, and confident with your decision for surgery -- Dr. Morin is your guy! I cannot thank Dr. Morin - and his incredible staff- for all their help in making my surgery such a success. I underwent a relatively complicated nose surgery and Dr. Morin executed on it flawlessy. I could barely hold back tears when I saw my final results.I will be forever grateful to the East Coast Aesthetic Surgery for helping not only make my surgery possible, but for allowing me to do so without paying away my life savings. They went above and beyond to get my surgery covered.The surgery went better than I ever could have expected, and I'm absolutely THRILLED with my results. If you are ever in need of a surgeon, look no further than Dr. Morin!!

What an exceptional Surgeon! Dr. Morin is so professional and truly cares for his patients. The results he creates are unbelievable. I will continue to put my trust into Dr. Morin with all my future needs. I recommend him to ALL! Also, his staff are more than accommodating. Great group of people!

Dr. Robert Morin is an amazing surgeon! He removed a lesion from my leg and a cyst from my arm. Both scars are now barely noticeable! He is extremely intelligent, and very, very personable.Thanks to him I have the confidence to wear skirts again! His staff is wonderful and always took such great care of me. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will forever recommend him to all my family and friends. If you want a top notch doctor, Dr. Morin is exactly that and more!

I had a large bump (lipoma) on my forehead which was expertly removed by Dr. Morin. The procedure follow up were all handled in a very professional manner. As a health care provider my self I can easily say I would go back to Dr. Morin for any other cosmetic surgery if needed. His staff makes the job very easy. a five stare review.

I haven't seen Dr. Morin in about 5 years and miss having a great Dr for my daughters. We moved several years ago and have not found anyone to compare to him and his office staff. The quality of care we get now is of the lowest rating.

Dr. Morin is known for thinking of himself as a neurologist/psychologist. He diagnoses psychiatric conditions even thought he's not qualified to do so. Everyone in town knows this is the doctor to see if you want your kid on medication.

His focus is more on psychiatry, or so he thinks. He misdiagnosed me and put me on several medications. Then , when I became suicidal , he refused to see me or treat me. You see, I wasn't bipolar but being on 7 bipolar meds made me suicidal. He is very rude , mucho pompous!

Dr. Morin has treated my 19 year old autistic child for 12+ years. He has always treated us like we were very important to him. We e-mail weekly concerning my son's behavior and health issues that he may be having at the time and he responds right back with suggestions or if he feels like he needs to speak to me about the issue he will call immediately. I have called him at home on the weekends when my son had an emergency or has had a meltdown that I needed help dealing with. I would highly recommend Dr. Morin to anyone who has a special needs child because he does truly care about them!!!!!
