Dr and I use that term loosely Kirk was the hospitalist during my recent stay in Holston Valley Medical Center. He is rude condescending and lacks any empathy for patients. He has zero bedside manner and acts as if you as the patient he’s getting paid to treat is an inconvenience to him. He’s the type of doctor that gives others a bad name. I only hope that if anything ever happens that requires her stay in a hospital he’s treated exactly how he treats the patients he sees.

He saw my dad at Holston Valley and had a horrable and very negative bedside manner. Dr.Kirk was very arrogant and did not show any compassion for my dad. Thank goodness my sister is a nurse and knew we could request for Dr.Kirk to no longer oversee my dads care and get a more knowledgeable Dr. on my dads treatment plan.

Doctor Kirk is lazy and incompetent He is a disgrace to the medical profession Let an 82 year old male with severe arthritis lay in the hospital for 2 days with out pain medication and refused to write the order even though the patient was already on it at home

Dr. Kirk is wonderful. What ever problem you are having he will find out what is going on. You have a wonderful Dr. when you see Dr. Kirk.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kirks for about 3 years. Back then I would have had to agree with some of the negative comments re lack of concern or appropriate time spent but I just had an annual exam last week and was very impressed with appears to be a new man of interest patience and completeness

Dr. Kirk is insulting and unbelievably rude. I will not be back. I have no idea how good of a doctor he is since he was too busy being a jerk. He did not seem to be very interested in what was going on in my life that might contribute to any health issue I may have and had almost no information to go on to make his assessments which seemed to be based more on stereotypes than any real scientific evidence. At one point he even rolled his eyes at me. I dont think I have ever been treated so shabbily and I would not be willing to trust anything he had to say since he is so very quick to diagnose without any real information.

Very friendly made me feel comfortable talking to him about my problem. I feel he was very accurate in my diagnosis and has helped me with my anxiety.

Dr. Kirk is a horrible doctor. He does not listen to your problems and after about 10 minutes he is done and ready to go to the next patient. He has a way of making you feel like an idiot while describing your medical issues. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
