List of Mandeep Bakshi's Reviews
Very hard to get an appointment upon referral and office was horrible at returning calls. Got appointment MONTHS after referral and then was treated like a child with insulting 'questions' and didn't even write accurate diagnosis down and follow up for 3 months with rent-stabilized acute asthma. Had to see another pulmonologist to get actual help and to be able to breathe. Lousy help over the phone, inept office staff which actually made people come to office to pick up xray prescription trather than fax it to hospital.... Wouldn't recommend the office to a worst enemy. Stay away unless you like stress with your breathing difficulties.
Dr. Bakshi seems knowledgeable and may be a good diagnostician, but doesn't listen well at times and has terrible bedside manner. He treats patients like they're a child even if they're as old or older than he is. His staff is mixed with a good nurse practitioner but some other nurse or P.A. who can't answer questions or check with the doctor to find out the answers. Front desk staff is friendly if sometimes inept- who makes patients come pick up prescription for xray instead of faxing it to the hospital during the Covid limitations period these days? Answer- this office did. Unless you like being insulted and don't care about not getting properly diagnosed and instructed in care and only want a 3 month follow-up for something that needs a 6 week follow up, find another pulmonologist.
I thought I knew it all, but I didn't! I'm now managing my sleep issues and sleeping 100% better than I ever imagined.
Just came from my initial visit with Dr. Bakshi and was so pleasantly surprised. He was extremely thorough about explaining the complexity of my condition, spending more than an hour. I was hesitant to go to a local doctor for such a complex issue, but am now glad I started in this office. The doctor scheduled several critical tests for me and referred me to a specialist in Knoxville for further analysis.
Caring, very knowledgeable and listens to the patient.
Staff is caring and patient even when very busy! Dory is the BEST!!!
I have spent over $2000.00 on two sleep studies and has been over 6 months since the first visit. They never call you, you have to call them several times in order to get things going. Had an appointment today, in which they forgot to call me. "We called them yesterday" to find out what was going on. Went today and they stated I had a $23.00 balance that had to be paid before they would see me. They couldn't tell me what it was for!!! The doctor billed my insurance $700.00 last week. I have never even met the doctor. They couldn't even tell me what it was for!!! This office is all screwed up. I told them I wasn't paying the $23.00 for something they didn't know anything about. I walked out and told them I would never be back!!!
If you have questions after the initial visit and call to clarify, the staff will not have the doctor return phone calls.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
