I have a fairly complex medical history and needed a new PCP, and was hopeful Dr. Axelrad would accept me as a new patient. The HMG office staff, including Ronnie, Office Manager, worked with me to make the transition as easy as possible. Dr. Axelrad's nurse Denise, was very attentive and was the epitome of professionalism. Dr. Axelrad herself, was personable, and concerned about my priorities. She listened and did her own thorough exam, something many Dr.'s in my life have gotten away from. She explains treatments, concerns and works with you partnering in your healthcare. This past week I required a return to work letter, and Ronnie scheduled a short notice appointment, Dr. Axelrad documented her assessment and submitted a letter to my employer that evening. She has adjusted my medications based upon her evidenced based experience, and ordered tests, to make sure my health risks were minimized. In this day and age, she is a rare practitioner, that treats the person, looks at the whole person, and frankly works exceedingly hard on behalf of her patient. I have great confidence in my new PCP, and believe she will do what she can, to make sure I'm getting the proper treatments and my health risks are minimized, of what is under her control. She also has a sense of humor in addition to being a caring doctor. I feel Blessed she is my doctor!

Incompetent , lacks experience, professionalism,basic medical calculation! Regarding Crawford medication dosage which clearly shows her level of an experience and is certainly not performing in the clients best interests. Clearly out for herself and could care less if you die based on numerous malpractice issuesPerhaps in a few more years Dr. Mary Axlerad will be in better position (only if she decides to leave low budget hillbillies in c. Heights &properly treat patients in New York where she belongs with her dictator mentality
