Online Reviews Breakdown
List of Russell Mader's Reviews
I have been a patient of Dr. Mader for many years. He has diagnosed and successfully treated several skin problems for me, including types of skin cancer. When my insurance rejected payment for a particular method of treatement, he wrote them a letter describing the rationale and need for the treatment. Although my insurance company still declined to cover the treatment, I greatly appreciated his efforts on my behalf. He is professional, thorough and friendly. He his highly recommended.
I have spent a lot of years in the sun farming and playing golf. When my Dermatologist retired I selected Dr Mater. He has treated about me about 4-5 years. I have received excellent results. I have never had any difficulty with his treatment. He did surgery on my left cheek to remove a S' cell last year. He found another this year on the right side of my nose. He recommended Mohs because it was so near my eye. Dr Stigall did the Mohs in January. I highly recommend these Drs.
I would not recommend anyone to Dr. Mader. He removed a squamous cell carcinoma from my hand and told me to come back yearly for a head-to-toe exam. A few years later, I asked him to look at a mole on my leg that had grown and changed significantly. He rushed in, looked at and dismissed the mole as nothing and was gone without doing the head-to-toe exam. A year later that mole was removed by another doctor and was melanoma and required more surgery. Dr. Mader is much to busy to do a good exam.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
