Do NOT GO HERE They will see you about 6 times and decide your insurance isn’t taken by them anymore when it wasn’t to begin with. Money makes the world go round but not for us that don’t have it right? Shittiest surgeon
Excellent surgeon it only took him 30 min to remove my gallbladder an I think he done an excellent job I highly recommend Dr Thomas
Dr. Tomas has done 2 hernia surgeries for me within a year. My case is difficult because of heart issues and an ICD. He gave me all the time that I needed. I am not a sensitive snowflake so his alleged poor bedside manner did not jump up and offend me. He is very precise professional and explains the procedures well. I would recommend him and also use him again. He doesnt need to be my best friend to do a skilled surgery. What is wrong with people? I like people that tell it like it is and dont sugar coat a piece of surgery.
I had surgery on a 10 year old csection that would not stay closed in rogersville. I have mrsa and was running a fever of 103. I went to my surgeon in rogersville dr higgins and she assured me i wasnt running a fever from surgery. So off to indian path i go to the er. I had a ct which confirmed that there was a sac of infection in the incesion that i just had surgery on which turned out to be staff so the er dr told me dr thomas would b there in the morning to perform surgery on me. I ended up having surgery and a wound vac on dr thomas has no bed side manners quiet the smartass and not compassionate at all. He had me on norco 10 every 3 hours at the hospital and when i left the next day he gave me nothing to go home with. I know some r thinking i gave him a bad review bc i didnt get pain meds but thats not the case at all. He neglected me. He cut my stomach all the way open didnt stitch up bc of the wound vac so this has been very painful to say the least especially when the wound is changed every 2 days. Btw i went to my primary care who said she had heard nothing but bad about him and she was dumbfounded as to why he would treat patients is such a manner and yes she did give me pain meds. So today i go for my follow up with dr thomas the frist one since surgery. I cant wait to tell him excatly what i think and how my primary is taking care of me
He took my appendix out on Valentines day 2018. He also might have saved my life. For starters I am of the opinion that most doctors cant or wont communicate. Not this doctor. He told me in 2 minutes about the procedure. I was so impressed with his skills that I asked him to select a personal MD hoping he would send someone like himself. It worked. He sent me to another great communicator. What good does it do to see a doctor if you know less after a visit than when you went in? Good MD
Gallbladder surgery him an his team done great would use again
On time for consultation appointment excellent explanation of my diagnosis made me feel safe in his care loved his nurse Edith
I have had Dr. Thomas perform two surgeries on me and I would not hesitate in using him again. I had a perfect outcomes and no complications. I also know of several people some of which are health care workers who have also used Dr. Thomas for there surgeries and had perfect outcomes as well. I would confidently re amend him to anyone.
Dr. Thomas did my gallbladder surgery. The surgery went well and to date no complications. I would highly recommend Dr.Thomas to anyone.
This surgeon has terrible bed side manner. No compassion and to my understanding he IS a doctor so he should be able to answer medical questions about the ailment he is about to perform surgery on. I had a bad gut feeling about him but my family care provider convinced me to stick with him because apparently he has a reputation of being a very good surgeon. Well he has permanently damaged my parathyroid glands and I take 4500mg of calcium a day to maintain my normal disposition. He assumed that my thyroid was lower then it actually was some made the cut entirely too low. By the difficulty it was to get to my thyroid gland he in turn damaged all the parathyroid there are 4. He also put in the report that he had to take a parathyroid but a week later it was discovered from the biopsy it was not. He also told me I was cancer free and two weeks later the endocrinologist told me I still have it. To this day Im not sure if I do or do not have cancer. I have to take 15 pills a day to stay alive as to the 1 I should only have to take. He is very arrogant as well. I had a week long stay after my overnight surgery due to complications I almost died from. All he said at my follow up was how nice the incision looked gloating at his work and ignoring what he put me through. I will NEVER use him or recommend him to anyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
