Worst dr I ever been to. Takes your money. Makes you wait for hours and doesnt even help you.
Dr. Himel is an excellent Doctor. After months of pain and not getting any answers from the doctors I had seen. I went to the emergency room. The doctor there said he couldn’t help me. I begged to see a neurologist. He called Dr Himel to come see me. Dr himel was wonderful, he said we will find out what is wrong with you. I had stage 4 cancer. And because of him I was able to see one of my kids graduate college and the other kindergarten. He saved my life. I will be forever grateful. ??
Well worth the wait. He's very patient and kind. He's a very good listener. The wait time is improving. At one time a visit was about 3-4 hours, and that included the time spent in waiting room, in exam room waiting for him and the actual time spent with him. All that has improved in recent months. Besides, what's a 3 hour wait if you have a neurological problem and want an accurate diagnosis. In my opinion, he's the best.
Great bedside manner. He will sit and talk to you for a hour if needed to anwser any questions you may have. Listens to his patients and considers their ideas. But, this quality time he spend with each of his patients cause an extemely long wait time, anywhere from 1 to 4 hours!! But, all of his patients are willing to sit and wait. Once you find a great doctor it's hard to give up just because of a long wait time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
