He was my OB/GYN when I lived in Rochester in the 1990s and he was the best I have found over the many years in 4 different States!
great doctorrr
My son was 19- 20 years old when he seen this man. In his first 30 days he prescibed him 350 hydocodone pills, He also prescibe him zanax then changed to oxecodone then when he couldn't afford them he gave him methodone and klonopin he went to this dr. for about a year when we as his parents found out where he got them. We made an appointment to see the dr. The dr. assured us that he would talk to him about rehab and would not give him anymore pills needless to say he gave him even more than what he was receiving. Three weeks later he almost died of a drug overdose (respitory Failure). This all could of been avoided if this dr. was doing him job instead of just giving out pills to get this kids addicted. This man should never in his life be able to prescibe to even a dog. I have a full one year pharmacy log of the pills that this man gave to him all I can say is he had to of wanted him to die just by the quanity of them. I hope and pray that this man will never be able to prescibe anything to anyone for the rest of his life!!!!

I was a patient at Kingston family Practice and the doctor I had quit- without notice. The next appointment I had, the receptionist informed me that there was a new doctor that I'd be seeing- Dr. DeWar. From the first visit, I took an immediate liking to him. He impressed me so much with his questions and demeanor. No matter what problem I've ever had, he's known what to tell me, and the next time I go in- he tells me even more. I trust this man so well, that instead of a pediatrician, he is my children's doctor. ANY problem we've EVER had- he knows how to fix it, AND he doesn't use the 'newest' drug on the market- he uses ones that work. There's been times that I've called and couldn't get in because of it being flu-season- HE called me back to find out what the problem was and has called in the medication that my kids needed based on the symptoms given over the phone. I've had to page him on the weekend- HE CALLS BACK!I've never experienced the service and understanding from ANY medical practitioner that I receive from him. Matter of fact, I don't think that it even exists today.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
