My son was born w a droppy eyelid at 7 months his dr said he will grow out of it n i wanted a 2nd opinion n heard about dr Schmidt & in about 3 weeks she did surgery 2 put a lift behind his eyelid 2 help him see the surgery had 2 b done again when he was 5 but i will never take my kids n e where 4 vision issues unless its dr Schmidt we love her & the staff.

I would not take my child here ever again. She was terrified of getting her eyes dilated and they did not handle the situation well at all (the nurses)- the doctor was wonderful and listened to my child. The most traumatic experience my child has ever had. They were only concerned with getting it done quickly.

My daughter had a freak accident in August, and almost lost her eye. If it wasn’t for Dr. Allison Schmitt, she would have lost her eye. We are so thankful for Dr. Schmitt for everything she has done for us, my daughter loves her so much and feels so comfortable and safe with her. We were very fortunate that day, and every appointment after that to receive such great care, and will forever be grateful. Thank you so much! We love you!

This office is wonderful. We moved from California several years ago and were worried we may not find services for our nonverbal son with Autism. We were referred here by our pediatrician. The staff is lovely and patient, as are the Doctors. We personally dealt with Dr. Schmitt. My son is now 18 but they will still continue to be his provider due to his ability level, this is great news for my son and myself. They care about patients.

My experience at Dr. Schmitt's office has been very positive! I had a lazy eye and she preformed a surgery that re-aligned my eyes and has me back to seeing perfect! She is a wonderful doctor and her office staff is amazing too!

I was referred to Dr. Allyson Schmitt by my regular ophthalmologist to examine my issues with eye muscle coordination and non-matching eye horizons going back to an early-life eye infection and prior eye surgery 16 years ago. Dealing with Dr. Schmitt -- competent, pleasant, trust-inspiring -- and her staff was exemplary in every respect. Dr. Schmitt then performed a complex (oblique) eye muscle surgery that was a full success. It had a huge impact on my quality of life. A+
