American Anesthesiology Of Tennessee Pc's Online Review Report Card

The guy I just got off the phone with DOES NOT need a job answering customer calls. He keeps telling me that I haven't made a payment, even after I read the credit card statement to him. After 15 minutes tells me I must have paid the hospital or the doctors office. I got no where, thankfully, I didn't sit on hold for the 37 minutes it said I needed to or I would be more upset than I am now. So if you have an $1160 credit on your account, you're welcome because it isn't on mine anywhere!

Horrible company. Sent bill directly to collections without any mail sent to me or anything.

I seldom write a negative review. I received a bill from American Anesthesiology for the full amount before insurance. After contacting my insurance company to confirm that payment had been made, I then called American Anesthesia with proof of payment from my insurance company. They said it was under review. Today I called them again, and they said the same thing. it’s still under review. I ask her Why? What is there to review? Proof of payment has been provided. Just mark it paid like other medical billing departments do! Now there’s a threat to put this huge bill on my credit report despite all I have done proving payment. I also asked this woman, Jennifer if she ever googled American Anesthesia's reviews. She said No. I said you ought to!! These reviews are proof that your billing department does not do their job!! Maybe Patients need to write a letter to the highest authority. Maybe to the director of anesthesiology?

Is there a way to give less than one star, because these people on the business side of this practise are AWFUL!!!!! I have given them EVERYTHING they have ever asked for and they still sent the bill which is covered to collections.. I HATE THEM.

This is a house of crooks, I have the same experience everyone else does. Paid the bill off in full on an auto payment and then turn around and get a collection notice the exact same week!! Report them to the BBB and State licensing boards.

They sent my bill directly to collections without billing me or sending the bill to my insurance. I didn’t even know I owed them money. I called to get this corrected, and was told it was all straightened out. Then I get another notice from collections months later. I called again and they still had not sent my bill to my insurance, or to me despite having my insurance information and my address. I will be calling regularly to check up on this now because I don’t want to be sent to collections and apparently they can’t be trusted to get it right on their own.

I've been trying to get my payment posted to my account for 6 months. I have sent proof of payment and cannot get any help. The only answer I get is"its under review". This is terrible business ethic!

Unsure if this place is a scam or not. Got a text message about a bill, but no other notices. No paper invoice. I have attempted to call multiple days in a row to verify the authenticity of the text message but their phone system is broken. I have managed to leave multiple messages, but haven’t gotten a call back. Any doctor that does business with this company should reconsider. They will sink your patient satisfaction with your care. Horrible experience. Still think these are scam artist.

These people will try their best to scam you out of money. They are a legit service, but they try to trick you into paying a large bill after your insurance already paid. I called my insurance to verify that I didn’t have any obligations. My insurance then called AA to make them stop heckling me with calls and junk mail. Don’t let them get the best of you! Call your insurance!

I won’t even give this company a star. My husband had surgery 12/08/2021. This is now September and they will not send the correct billing code to our insurance company so they can pay it. Now they have turned this bill over to collection agency which is not fair since they are not doing their job.
