Great Place Awesome Doctors
Dr. Atwol? Ettowal? Not sure how to spell his name.. but he has treated my diabetic nephew a few times during his stays there and this doctor is awful. If he is your childs doctor ask for a different one He does not care about his patients. He talks on the phone while in the patients room and leaves before answering any questions everytime There is a long list of other things Our whole family is very frustrated and disappointed we never get any answers from this hospital after many visits
Our son goes there for migraines and if she just the sweetest most kind of place that you have ever been the staff is so awesome they take such good care of him his doctor she so mindful of us and she explains things in ways that we can understand
One of my twins at 4 months old was diagnosed with a Left Pulmonary Artery Sling his left Artery ran between his esophagus and trechea the staff here was very helpful and understanding as we went from here to Vanderbilt for open heart surgery to repair. We currently see Dr. HURST of Cardiology for follow ups. He plays with the kids while he does his check ups making the appointments go smoother. THANK YOU for improving our life
Have been there since the 24th with my little boy got home today the nurses and staff were so caring and kind
Usually I would give them 5 stars... they are always there when you need the most. However yesterday they did not live up to 5 stars. I drove my son there 1 hour away to get checked out because his primary care dr said he had a sinus infection and prescribed 15 day antibiotics and he had just literally finished them and started running a fever and complaining of a headache accompanied by a nasty cough. We get down there and dont wait in the waiting room 10 minutes and we are placed in a room. Dr comes in and leaves due to emergency. Nobody checks on us for close to an hour. Dr comes in says its a virus. Then later a nurse takes us for a chest Xray. Dr says it is clear. Asks me if anyone had the flu lately and since family had it she tested him. Negative. Tested for walking pneumonia negative. My 4 year old son was almost in tears saying his head was hurting and she told him she would see if the dr would give him something. Like an hour later his fever was rising I could tell by his bright red ears and cheeks. I paged the nurse. Said she would send someone in shortly. Well 30 min later dr comes back and says she really thinks its a virus and we were going home. I mentioned Tylenol and she asked if anyone had taken the temperature lately since it was between rounds and she took it and it was 102.9. She got the nurse to bring in Motrin finally and within 10 min we were being discharged. Thank goodness I packed him a snack and drinks. When the nurse saw me putting the straw in the juice box she offered a cold Powerade as we were about to leave. I find it odd they let us leave with a fever of that degree when his pediatrician in a podunk town wouldnt have let us leave his office. I felt like the dr hated her job or was just having a horrible day. Overall the nurses were more than wonderful. But man was it a long ride home with a sick child. Then today the phone rings. They misread the Xray and he has pneumonia
I love this hospital. My son is now 14 but when he was younger this hospital was our second home. He had a lot of wafting issues and stomach issus. Thanks for understanding the kids the way you guy do
Everyone is always so friendly knowledgeable and efficient. Love Dr. Worthwein and her staff
Very nice hospital nice and caring nurses and doctors.
Childrens Hospital went above and beyond to make sure my son was cared for physically emotionally. We will be forever thankful for the kindness shown during our stay. May God bless each and every person at Childrens Hospital.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
