List of Cole Hosenfeld's Reviews
Called to set an appointment and the fastest they could see me was several days out. No biggie. Got in the next day at another DC so I called the next day and canceled my appointment with Dr Hosenfeld. A month later I get a bill for a no show charge. Yeah that’s not happening. I’m not paying a bill because someone didn’t do their job.
I saw Cole about 10 years ago for some injuries after a car wreck. He absolutely changed the course of my life and he helped me beyond words. I owe him. He was incredible and he pushed me to get to levels and quality of life that I thought were not possible. Thank you Cole. You changed my life and I think of you and your help on a daily basis. I would be in a very dark place if this man had not helped me on a body and soul level. Amazing human Being that actually cares. Rare. If you have the honor of working with him or being treated by him please know that you are lucky.
Felicia the front secretary or whatever she is, is horrible!! She is very demeaning to patients! I refuse to deal with her anymore, she needs to be fired. I don’t think Dr Cole knows how his patients are treated. Also the past month when I call to make a payment or set up a appointment you can never get anyone to answer. But yet when you go over there they fuss about you not paying your bill! They need to watch their staff and maybe they would know why!
I had a great experience. I had never been to a Chiropractor before but Dr. Cole relieved my anxiety quickly. He was very professional and friendly. He is a great doctor and would hesitate to go back for treatment. The physical therapists were wonderful. Very profession, knowledgeable and very friendly. My problems were gone after three visits. Overall this was a great experience and would recommend Apple Health and Wellness .
Called my insurance AFTER I received physical therapy for an authorization which should have been done prior to services. Also my insurance stated they tried to authorization chiropractic services when I was receiving only physical therapy. I was charged $250 from their office, for THEIR mistake! I immediately stopped physical therapy there and would not return. A shame since their providers are excellent but your staff makes up a large portion of your practice. Not fair to penalize the patients for office mistakes. They were not willing to do anything and didn’t really care they made the mistake. I’ve worked with many doctors over the years and never had an issue with insurance. I tried to appeal this myself but since it came directly from the office I have nothing. I filed a state complaint but that about all I can do at this point other than let people know to be careful if you are expecting insurance to cover your care, one mistake and they will be sending you a bill. Should have stuck with PT at TOC while I had the chance.
I've been going here for years, the staff is amazing! I'll never go anywhere else. Dr Chris had helped me so much over the years.
I can't say enough GREAT things about this place!! My husband was on 2 different medications and was still in pain daily until he started seeing Dr Chris! Now he is off the medications and PAIN-FREE with just a monthly adjustment!! I began going too just because of the stiffness that sets in with a daily desk job. I can't believe I suffered so long thinking it was just normal to feel that way...IT'S NOT! The staff knows us both by name and is always so friendly and welcoming! We are also now seeing Jessica for our allergies and HIGHLY recommend either location! We love APPLE HEALTH & WELLNESS!
Awesome place had herniated disc in my back could hardly walk but Dr. Cole an his staff got me back to walking again
Went off and on for a couple of years and got some help. But, a few problems. I felt like cattle in a shoot. They take quite a few back and all are in separate curtained areas, but can hear others. There you receive massage and e-stim. Massage was never the same person twice. Then "pt" I guess. I was stunned to learn I was being charge for PT. It was maybe 5-10 mins of here, do this exercise at home. Maybe just handing a photocopied sheet. Not PT in my mind at all-- but billed as such. Dr. Chris was "chummy", fine mostly, but I did not like being called "chick". Last, I ended up being injured --- quite badly--- at first ignored, told someone would call me back. I called again. I was told to take ibruprofen. Then the NP phoned in prednisone. I could not get out of bed without excruciating pain. I dragged myself out wincing. I told them, but was actively discouraged from going to ER,.. told they might have "tweaked" the disc, which can hurt like hell but should be fine. Another round of predisone and ibuprofen. Ultimatley I went to ER, got an MRI and have a pretty badly ruptured disc. I am attempting REAL PT and pain management, and likely facing back surgery. I wish I had listened to my gut and gone to ER right away instead of trusting them. I had month of agony that they blew off. I had doubts about a chiropractor, and it was "ok" not fabulous, BUT I should never have trusted them. The "drop" method that ruined my back, Dr. Christ said to roll towards him and to "trust him" I did . And boy am I paying for it. Fair warning. Go to a real massage therapist, a real Physical therapist. With these your appointment will be more than the 5-10 minutes done at Apple. AND go to a real doctor for back pain. and one who will not blow off your severe pain by poo-pooing it and offering ibuprofen.
Absolutely the best service, best staff.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
