Dr. Martin took great care of me prior to conception (history of miscarriages), during pregnancy, and after my c-section! She kept my anxiety at bay and was always willing to take the time to answer any questions I had.

I have had a wonderful experience at Dr. Martins obgyn! They are always quick to answer any of my questions!

Dr. Martin and staff were wonderful throughout our pregnancy from start to finish! I was looking for a doctor in Knoxville whom I would be certain would be our doctor from the first appointment through birth and she certainly delivered! As a first time mom, I always had a lot of questions and Dr. Martin gave me and my husband her full attention. She responded quickly to any inquiries I sent through the patient portal and when we realized our baby was breeched, she gave me an honest assessment regarding c section versus any efforts to “turn” the baby. My c section procedure was handled with the utmost care and Dr Martin and the hospital staff made every effort to make sure it was a special birthing experience for me and my husband. And my scar healed quickly and is much less noticeable than I anticipated. An A+ all around!

I loved Dr. Martin for a lot of reasons! 1. Very funny but also serious 2. Listens (i had told her i didn’t want to gain much during pregnancy even tho i did and she held me to my 35 lbs max by encouraging me because i didn’t want a big baby to cause complications giving a vaginal birth considering my pelvis sits unevenly) 3. DELIVERS HER PATIENTS BABIES!!!!!!!!!. You do NOT get an on call doctor. You get Dr. Martin or her partner (unsure of his name, i did meet him once on my first pregnancy and he was so sweet) both awesome! (Also not sure if he’s still there this go round) She came in when i got induced and didn’t leave until i gave birth 25 hours later ! 4. Very good at what she does! 5. Personal If you are deciding on what doctor to choose and you are reading this, i encourage you to go to Dr. Martins office! She delivered my first baby and now I’m on baby #2 and she is going to be delivering that baby as well!

I am trying to reach office 7 days. Receptionists are WORST. No one can answer any question. They are totally not helpful. I was asking them "what insurance do you accept''. Answer is only "We dont accept Tenncare" and hang off phone. On my questions, WHAT they accept, they just didnt say anything and saying bye. You should be more professional in customer service and dont treat people like trash. List your acceptable insurance on your web and no more questions, but your team is rude and unprofessional.

My husband and I will never be able to express our appreciation for Dr. Martin into words. From the beginning of our pregnancy she was open, honest, and informative. She took the steps needed to ensure our baby girl was healthy and offered additional options for testing. Staff was always welcoming and I was seen in office any time I felt uneasy about something regarding my pregnancy. Labor and delivery was just as beautiful with Dr. Martin! We were induced and she talked us through every step of the way for our comfort and baby girl’s safety. As a woman I felt heard and validated, this was our first child but we will be utilizing Dr. Martin for our future pregnancies God willing!

Dr. Martin took great care of baby and me with my second pregnancy. I had some complications with preeclampsia in the last few weeks, and she stayed on top of it. She was kind, caring, and most importantly, she prioritized my and baby’s safety above all. I felt like I had the best care with her and the labor/delivery and postnatal recovery nurses at Ft. Sanders. She will be my doctor, without a doubt, for our next pregnancy.

I had my entire pregnancy journey with Dr. Martin. From my first ultrasound to delivery. Dr. Martin was very skilled and thorough with every appointment. She recommended and advised but never pressured me into any decision and she let me try and have the delivery I wanted. In the end everything that happened was what Dr. Martin had anticipated and so we were prepared with back up choices. She preformed my C-Section herself and my son was born healthy. She visited me every morning in the hospital there after to check on my healing and answer any questions. Would recommend her to any lady and will be going to her again for 2nd pregnancy.

Had a great experience with Doctor Martin as a first time mom. She is a great OBGYN and the staff and fort sanders made my experience very special. Highly recommend.
