List of George Keough's Reviews
I went in telling Dr. Keough I had an ingrown eyelash. He told me that it wasn’t an ingrown eyelash after barely looking at it. I told him I could see it and that I really thought it was an eyelash. He insisted it was a skin tag and that there was nothing he could do and I’d have to wait for it to fall off. He continued to ask me if I had a magnifying mirror at home and that I shouldn’t use it because I’m looking at things everyone else doesn’t see. He completely dismissed me and didn’t listen to what I was telling him. His nurse also dismissed me. They both made me feel like I was a frivolous waste of their time and rushed me out. The total time with the doctor was less than three minutes. I proceeded to go home and use my magnifying mirror to remove the eyelash with a needle. I was initially worried about infection which is why I made the dr appointment in the first place. I wouldn’t recommend this Dr to anyone.
I told Dr keough I had an ingrown eyelash. He told me it was a skin tag, I continued to tell him that I can see the eyelash and that I’m pretty sure it’s an ingrown eyelash. He asked me if I had a magnifying mirror at home and that I shouldn’t use it because I’m seeing things others don’t see. He and his nurse made me feel ridiculous and like I was wasting their time. Dr Keough rushed me out. The total time with him was less than 3 minutes. He didn’t listen to me and barely looked at my eyelid. I proceeded to go home and remove the eyelash with a needle which is I was afraid to do in the first place not wanting to risk infection on my eyelid. I will definitely not see this Dr again.
Dr. Keough has appointments with patients every 10 minutes. KnoxDerm embodies the definition of a "churn and burn" practice. He didn't listen to my symptoms, asked me to take off my shirt in front of his female note-taker (she didn't say a word the entire time - I just thought I would mention since somebody else wrote about the same experience), and then he prescribed me the same topical steroids I have been taking since I was 10 years old and told me to come back in 2 months. This trip costed me $150 to get prescribed the same tube of steroids my doctor calls in for free.
Excellant, couldn't be better. He checked my problem, gave me a shot and cut it off then cauterized it. He said he thought it was okay but was going to send it off to be tested and would let me know the results in about a week. I think some people on here giving him low scores are just petty. I would definately give him 5 stars and will be going back to him.
Extremely personable, detailed, and overall great service. Office was spotless with non-stop preventative cleaning efforts due to Covid. Checkout was flawless. Thanks for the pain-free, expedient service, Dr. Keough. You are the best!
After having me strip, he left the room and brought in a female resident without giving me notice ahead of time.
I would not recommend my dog going to this guy!!! My GP originally recommended Dr. Dittrick, but couldn't get an appointment for three months. However, Keough had an opening right away. Now I know why....because nobody wants to go to him. He took one look at my face (I'm 43 now and I've struggled with acne since my teenage years), said it was Rosacea, wrote out a prescription and away he went. He spent less than five minutes in the room, and said nothing about a follow up visit.
Went to this doctor because the doctor my GP recommended was booked. Keough was available and I undertstand why....no one would want to go to this guy. I waited 45 minutes to be put in a room, and he spent less than five minutes with me. Took one look at my face, said it was Rosacea, gave me a prescription and off he went. No mention of a follow up appointment. Totally disagree with the review that said Keough listens well. What a joke. I wouldn't send my dog to this guy. Too concerned with being in a hurry and doesn't convey that he cares about his patients.
He saw me on time, quickly diagnosed 2 issues I had as non-threatening and then removed a portion of a third for a biopsy. I was told I would be contacted in a week of the results and was. Couldn't expect more from anyone.
He did not examine places on my hands and arms closely. He stood just inside the door and spouted out seborrheic keratosis and rash from plants. 3 months now and it's still here even after my medical doctor gave me a steroid shot to see if that would work. It didn't . He was way off .. I have told people how he treated me. I certainly don't have a rash from plants and told him that when I was there 3 months ago.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
