Dr. Cates is an excellent physician/surgeon. He is compassionate and treats his patients as individuals and not a number. He will take on cases that are challenging and revise therapy, etc for the best outcome for that patient. He isn’t pushy and allows the patient to participate in their treatment plan. I have a lot of trust in Dr. Cates and highly recommend him for joint replacements.

This is my second procedure with Dr Cates. I initially chose him based on his board certification, positive reviews, and depth of experience. I returned because he patiently explains anatomical issues with great clarity and listens intently.

Dr Cates and staff are very professional and answer all questions. They also explain everything in detail. I have been a patient for about eight years. He has preformed knee surgery and getting ready to do a hip replacement.
