Journeypure Knoxville Alcohol & Drug Rehab's Online Review Report Card

I went to the women's center, there are many pros and cons. First of all, the staff members, every single one, are amazing. Almost all of them are recovering addicts, the ones that aren't are not in any way judgemental. From the moment you walk in the door, they show you love and compassion. They love you when you can't even love yourself, and help build you up. Ok, about the center itself. So, the place is a big house that has been made into 8 bedrooms with 2beds in each room. There are 4 people to each bathroom. Here the clients, clean the house and do all the chores as well as cook for themselves. There is no staff that cooks or cleans. That is a little irritating sometimes, but typically everyone teams up and cooks, usually the people that have been there the longest because when you first get there and are detoxing you definitely don't feel like cooking and cleaning. There is no music, there is no live TV access. There is a single DVD player that is given to clients by staff at 5or 6pm AFTER chores are done and checked by staff. This is not a 30day place you stay typically. This is the first step in thier program. The average stay here is 3 weeks. Could be ĺess could be more. They do not inform anyone how long they will be there until a couple days before they release you. You will not be completing thier program by finishing here. You have to move on to step 2, or PHP partial hospitalization. You then move to a totally different place. So if you are going because you need a certificate be prepared because you will need to complete 3-4 weeks here and another 3 weeks at the PHP place in order to graduate and obtain a certificate. Where a typical rehab is 28-30 days, this one is more like 6 weeks. The thing that makes the women's center awesome is the staff. Do not come here if you want to lay around and sleep. You are expected to participate in your treatment basically after the first day. It sucks at first, but it prepares you to participate in your life again. They keep you busy and in classes basically from 7am to 8pm. The therapy is amazing. In all, this place changed my life and helped me so much. I highly recommend if you are genuinely ready to do whatever it takes to get well. If you're wanting to be babied, pampered, spoiled, sleep for weeks, have fancy meals, or be in a hospital setting- then this is not the right place for you.

Wonderful treatment center. You get the opportunity to get close to the staff and they all care about your recovery. I love the nurse Carla, she listens to you even if you just need to talk

The Women's Center and IOP are amazing! I started at the Women's Center, and now am at Sober Living and in their IOP program! It's amazing how much the employees care and want to see you succeed in recovery. Nancy (Alumni Coordinator) is very helpful and amazing at keeping you involved in JP outside activities! This program has changed my outlook on life. I'm forever grateful for JourneyPure!

I was recently at journey pure womens center and it was the greatest experience of my life. I have been a loner my whole life thinking I didn't belong anywhere, but when I went to the women's center I was apart of a family and one that would stick by me throughout my whole journey. They helped me to love myself right where I was and that I was okay. The whole staff are there for you and what you need. They understand and come to work and do the best they can everyday. I would recommend this program to anyone who is dealing with addiction or mental illness cause it works.

This place needs to be sued for false advertising, mal practice, and for their disgusting living conditions. There were 24 men sharing 2 bathroom, that have never been cleaned. The wall behind the toilet is torn down/missing. You sleep 3-4 a room and horrid, stained mattresses. The staff were having relations with patients and even sneaking them things. The food is frozen and re heated, unhealthy junk. This is nothing like the website or the packet you receive in the mail. Had I known it was anything like this I would have NEVER came.

I went to Journey Pure women’s center. I just celebrated 3 years clean and I have custody of my daughter back. I am a CPRS. And I am just truly grateful for Journey Pure.

Journey Pure is amazing!! The staff there truly do care about their clients and work really hard. They go above and beyond to help people. If you are struggling this is a really great place and I would recommend it to everyone. It totally changed my life!!!

Great program and great staff and loving people who want you to do better with yourself and don't go back to the old you you got this I have completed the program and I am going to miss them so much love y'all

The staff is wonderful and caring. So many opportunities have become available. I cannot thank them enough, and I am so thankful for my recovery.
