Dr. Wood is nice but distant. I don't feel as if she wants to know anything about me as much as prescribe something and send me away. She is kind and I appreciate that, but there is just no connection with her. I wish she would listen to what I am telling her. sigh...

Not only is Dr. Wood highly knowledgeable - she listens, truly cares, and delivers a positive message to patients that she will partner with them to overcome their challenges. Dr. Wood is very responsive to follow up questions between appointments and returns call promptly.

She is the only reason I am alive today, this I am certain of; and thank you Dr. Wood. And I am not the easiest patient (i'd hate me) -- but her compassion leaves her as the only person I trust. Her intuition and clinical expertise come second only to her caring -- and thank goodness as it is so hard to find. If you are feeling hopeless and do not know where to turn -- call.

Dr Wood literally saved my life by returning my desperate call for help. She cares and isn’t all about prescribing more drugs to mask a problem. In fact, just the opposite. She helped me get to the root of my mental issues and dramatically lessened my need for antidepressants. This is a far different and better approach to psychiatry than I’ve seen in the past.

My daughter had been struggling for 15 years. Dr. Wood diagnosed her condition and explained it to us after one appointment. The diagnosis gave us all great relief. She is currently seeing my daughter to update medication every 3 months. Dr. Wood is intelligent, experienced, intuitive and professional.
