List of Kendra S. Hendon's Reviews
Dr. Hendon is very professional, she truly cares about her patients. We trust her completely, she truly wants what's best for the patient.
I will forever be greatful for Dr. Hendon working her knowledge of meds to help me three all the years of high blood pressure due to a dying kidney. Four years into it tells me the kidney had to be removed. A whole week after kidneywas removed I've got a new lease in life. Forever greatful
She is an excellent specialist, she cares about you as a whole not just a body part. She spends the time needed to get to the root of your condition. Her warm, friendly bedside manner is a huge relief. She doesn’t dismiss your questions. She’s a physician that you can talk to. I highly recommend her for your kidney and hypertension issues.
Dr. Hendon has been my husbands Dr. for several years now, we both really like her a lot. Also, Regina her assistant is wonderful. Never had any problems with any of the staff. They're great!
Dr Hendon is a ROCK STAR! She took great care of me and I have every confidence she will continue to do so. She is thorough, professional, and personable. She made sure that I understood what was happening and what our course of treatment would be! I couldn't be happier.
I love both her and the staff. Dr Hendon takes the time to sit down and explain in "simple words I can understand" what each result was for all my tests. Is not a quick in/out visit type dr.
OMG!! I was scared ,in a short time frame I heard a lot of things but Dr Hendon took her time and listened, explained everything, she is so knowledgeable of her field I swear just talking to her made BP drop, I needed fast treatment to save my kidneys and Dr.Hendon didn't waste time she got things rolling , called me , she's amazing and she shows that you are important and cares about your health I give her 10+ stars ps they are remodeling right now to better serve their pts.
I thought I was in good hands when my former PCP sent me to Dr. Hendon after 5 months of uncontrollable blood pressure. She got on the ball with testing, and then just stopped. She kept me on a blood pressure medication for 5 months that made my symptoms worse. I kind of had to argue with her that she take me off the medication. It was making me tachycardiac upwards of 145. I kept asking for my heart to be tested. I was told I was young (in my 30's) and my heart was fine. Turns out, it wasn't, and hadn't been this whole time. I never had hypertension. I have takotsubo cardiomyopathy, and if I hadn't gone to the ER last week, I hate to think how much longer I could have had. I was in the hospital for 6 days, after they discovered the takotsubo cardiomyopathy. They spent time finding the right combination of medications and made sure I was actually ok before releasing me. I'm going to heal and be fine in 90 days to 6 months. And my left ventricle is at 30% but it will heal and get stronger. Don't settle for a doctor who doesn't continue testing, especially when no blood pressure medication they tried ever worked. It would go up instead of down. Now my numbers are perfection and I'm so thankful to the staff at Parkwest and Dr. Rahman for saving my life. Seek second and third opinions. Be your own advocate. Don't just settle when you were healthy and active prior to all of this. And if the doctor won't do the work and your life is sheer agony, move on. I am, and I couldn't be happier.

Dr. Hendon was my mother's specialist. She had wonderful bedside manner. She truly cared for my mother. Her warm smile always made the office and hospital visits pleasant. She explained things in a way we could understand and she always had time for questions. Her educational background is also impressive. I liked her office staff as well. Every time I called for an appointment or had a concern, I was treated with respect.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
