Kim R. Emmett's Online Review Report Card

I am amazed every time I go to see her, except for wellness checks, she does not listen to my heart or look at my eyes, etc. She is very wishy washy on providing any diagnosis, and never seems to have a treatment plan, just address as you go. She said she would make a referral to a specialist for me....waited 2 weeks then called the office. That afternoon I finally got a referral. but YOU have to call to follow up. Office staff lets lots fall through the cracks. The patient portal is an absolute joke. You can hardly retrieve anything in a readable format. I am looking for a new PCP.

My Mom and I both have been seeing Dr. Kim Emmett for many years. When our former Dr. retired we had a Dr. friend refer her to us and we are glad we followed through. She is excellent in her knowledge, is very professional and is a caring Dr. We have recommended friends to her.

It is very difficult to schedule an appointment or to get a return call from this office.. Dr. Emmet is a good Physician, but always seems rushed.

Dr. Emmett has been my doctor for 6 years and she is very competent. It is extremely difficult to change an appointment and the staff can be very rude at times. When I requested a copy of the medical records the person on the phone was curt and said that I would have to come in and sign a release and there would be a charge for the records. By law, a patient is entitled to a copy of their records that have been paid for over time.

Dr Emmett has been my doctor for 12 years. She is completely on top of any problem and knows who to refer a person to. She’s not a laughing, joking doctor but gets down to business. I have never felt rushed when talking to her. Her nurse Jessica is super too.

I think the world of Dr. Emmett. I'm at an age where, unfortunately, I've had too much first hand experience with Dr's. And, I find many don't listen to your concerns, & can seem condescending. My 30 yrs of complex health problems were continuing to worsen, & it took over a yr, & several Dr's, before I found in Dr Emmett, a professional, that listened closely, & took the extra time, every vist, to help me find answers. And, also provided the needed referrals to top quality Specialist's, to handle my multiple health problems. Dr Emmett has even arranged for me to have the last appt of the day, so she has the time needed to discuss all the complicated test results, from multiple Dr's. Dr Emmett is a quite, thoughtful professional. She is an excellent physician, and after monthly visits, for the last 2+ yrs, I've come to know her well, & she treats me warmly, with real concern for my well being. What more could you ask for with your Primary Care physician? I couldn't be more pleased, and recommend Dr Emmett to anyone looking for a caring physician.
