Kimberly Grande's Online Review Report Card

I felt Dr. Grande was rude this last visit (on Sept 29). I told the nurse what she had done on the previous visit had had no effect. Dr. Grande acted like she did not like it when I told her I was not trying to be smart about it but that is why I chose this place. What she did was the same as what I’d had done before in Oak Ridge which had not helped at all. I have had many years of treatment for these places on my face including a full face chemical peel ( at the VA in Murfreesboro) so it was not like I didn’t know there were other options. I asked the nurse if Dr Grande would prescribe a salve I had used before and she told the nurse to order it and three other things two of which I’m not sure what they are. As Dr Grande was leaving I asked if she was not going to freeze anything today and she said ‘ No, it won’t do any good’. And she left. I was not asked to come back for any further appointments or treatment. As of today (Oct 3 ) the prescriptions had not been called in to my VA.

My daughter plays basketball and had a major flare up with her eczema to the point of blisters and bleeding on her hands. She was miserable and needed to be seen asap. Dr. Grande and her staff got her in immediately and we were treated with nothing but respect and kindness. We are in between insurances right now so my daughter didn't have coverage at the time. Dr Grande took the time to sit down and pull up medications and prices on good rx for us. And she also coded the appointment the lowest she could so we wouldn't be hit with a high payment. We were met with many smiles from the time we walked into the door until we left. We are already seeing some improvement on our daughters hands. Dr. Grande has been treating me and checking me for melanoma for the last 15 years. About 10 years ago she suspected I indeed had melanoma on my back seeing just a very small spot. I had not recognized it, but she "Saved my life" by removing it in her office quickly and easily! WOW! She also has removed a smaller skin cancer from my face which now it is impossible to see even the slightest scar. Again WOW! She is as friendly & quick & sure as any Dr. I have ever been too. Dr Grande is amazing Dr. She has study Dermatology for years. I've been seeing Dr Grande for many years and never will see another Dr. Dr Grande found cancer on my neck when other DRs passed over the area. Dr Grande did amazing job removing the cancer. Dr Grande is best. Thanks Kevin Gregg

Dr. Grande and her staff have provided me and my entire family exceptional care and service for several years! She provides cancer screening for me, she has helped my husband with hyper skin pigmentation and has also pierced the ears of my 6 year old! She is knowledgeable, direct and compassionate. Everything you want in a doctor. I recommend Skin Wellness to all of family and friends.

I am an established patient with Dr. Grande at the Skin Wellness Center since at least 2015, probably longer than that. I contacted their office this morning because I was experiencing a severe skin reaction to a medication (itching sensation all over body, severe rash on scalp, and less severe rash patches on my chest and extremities). I called their office right at 8 am when it opened and asked if there were any cancellations or if I could be worked into the schedule. I communicated in detail the nature of my medical situation. I was particularly concerned about hair loss due to the severity of the rash on my scalp. The receptionist with whom I spoke was borderline rude and certainly indifferent to what I believe was a situation that warranted concern. She would not offer me an appointment until at least 30 days in the future because I had not been to the Skin Wellness Center recently and was therefore considered a “new patient” again. I am disappointed and honestly appalled by a policy that would turn away an established patient experiencing a severe dermatological response. I went to the emergency department instead and required treatment with a steroid shot, prescription antihistamine, Prednisone to be taken over the next 5 days, and an ointment to be applied to my scalp for the next 10 days. I will be transferring my care to a new dermatologist. While I have had positive experiences with Dr. Grande in the past, I do not recommend the Skin Wellness Center. I suggest you look elsewhere for a dermatologist’s office with office staff who prioritize patient well-being and compassion.

Dr. Grande is very knowledgeable. Everyone there is very friendly.
