Dr. Shorman is a no nonsense doctor. I had a terrible accident from a fall at work. Both bones in my right leg were broken, one external fracture. I thought I would lose my leg because of a MRSA infection. Several medical people at the hospital said that it was a possibility. My wife asked Dr. Shorman if that was going to happen. He shook his head and said, quite emphatically..No. That has stuck with us both, how reassuring, and how determined and confident he was. We think highly of him.

Both my husband John Jarvis and I give Dr. Shorman the highest recommendation as he cured both of us of infections. Several years ago my husband was admitted to Cabell Huntington Hospital with strep throat which entered his blood. Dr. Shorman's treatment eliminated the strep from John's blood in six days. In December 2016 I developed MRSA staph in my knee after total replacement. Dr. Shorman's treatment kept MRSA from entering my blood, cured me completely, and is my favorite doctor.
