Megumi Vogt's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Vogt is an absolute doll! I see her for chronic, disabling Migraines, and she is the first doctor that has approached the condition of preventative, acute, and post care, leading me to finally get some control of this (for me) life long condition. She is an incredible doctor and shows definite empathy and truly listens to you, which is so rare these days! The only negative is that she is very difficult to get into, with a wait list currently around 6 months.

DR. VOGT MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE A PERSON, NOT A NUMBER. SHE LISTENS CAREFULLY TO YOUR PROBLEM. SHE IS VERY COMPASSIONATE,AND SPENDS A GOOD AMOUNT OF TIME WITH YOU. SHE IS ONE OF THE BEST DOCTORS IN HER FIELD THAT I HAVE BEEN TO IN 30 YEARS. SHE IS THE BEST.

Do Vogt is an excellent Doctor, giving excellent care for my pseudo tumor cerebri. I have been with her for about five years. But the staff at University Neuroscience Center/ Cole Neurology lacks greatly! They do not follow through on their jobs and on Doctors ordered tests that they are required to schedule. I have little regard for the sad “patient” care on their part. I’m quite certain she is uncertain this is going on. This will certainly only hurt their patient practice not to say what it will do to their patients... God help them! Please don’t let anything drastic happen while these incompetent employees slack off on their jobs.

She is very efficient and listens actively to patients and works hard to ensure that you feel confident in her care of you. She is especially good with Migraine sufferers.

Omg! I can’t thank Dr. Vogt enough! After three neurologists; she was the only one who gave me my quality of life back. I had chronic severe headaches among other things. She has been the only one to find something that works for me after years of suffering. She is the best. I am forever grateful to her!

Dr. Vogt is the rare physician who spends a lot of time with her patients making sure she understands their concerns and explaining their options to them. My father's case is very complicated, and he is fortunate to have her as his doctor.

I have been having problems for years with Chronic Migraines, Silent Migraines, Octicular Migraines, well lets say 6 of 8 different kinds of Migraines, plus I had seizures in the past, and I was falling asleep in my chair always tired.. Oh and Cognitive issues so bad I couldn't even add in my brain, simple math, seriously sad... couldn't remember things either I felt so lost and sad for years, my kids and family thought for sure I had dementia but I was like No something is wrong.. I went to Dr Vogt told her what was going on, she asked all about my history of Migraines and meds and before my Migraines.. Go figure she says lets try reducing your Migraine medicine it is bad stuff anyway.. I always heard that and reduced it down by one third already and felt better as my previous Neuro had me so drugged up I was really incoherent and talking to myself and just sat like a robot.. went from 600 mg down to 400mg by myself because I got scared and I realized something needed to be done and couldn't get into a Neuro with my previous ins.. Dr Vogt said we need to see if we can get you down more you are having major side effects from this BAD DRUG!! Topiramate... BAD, BAD, BAD DRUG... Got to look at the Black Box Warning People... Even my PCP and 4 other Dr's didn't figure out that was causing my problems.. anyway, here I am now on a much lower dose per my Dr's instructions doing so much better.. WOW what a difference!! I'm not even having as many Migraines as I was just Prodones and Postdones but those I trying to learn to deal with. I hope someday I can get off of this Drug and live a normal life again Topiramate Free and side effect free and hopefully Fully Migraine Free... But as long as there are Storms and Full Moons, and Colds and what not that can be a little challenging... Dr Vogt is an Amazing Dr and that was just one Visit.. Thank you... Thank you..
