Dr. Maggart was the cardiac surgeon that did my 6 vessel bypass in 2015 and I have nothing but praise for his surgical expertise and bedside manor. He was very straight forth and honest in his dealings with me. I have had no issues with him or his work. He left a very, very minimal scar and no other indications that he was there. I can highly recommend him if you are looking for the best surgeon for your bypass. ED Simpson

Would NEVER recommend him to anyone. He kept my mother sitting in a wheelchair in an exam room for 4 hours while the nurse kept coming in to apologize and say "just a few more minutes". She finally came in and said he would be in soon, apologized again and said, He likes to talk". He wasn't even seeing patients!! We were leaving when he finally strolled down the hall. He spent less than 2 minutes saying it would be a very serious surgery coming up. We knew that!! She was exhausted. Never!

Dr Maggart is Great, very professional! He performed my heart bypass surgery. Everything went smoothly, no complications, very little pain during recovery. I am grateful for his excellent skills!

5-6 yrs ago Dr.Maggart did lung surgery on my dad; he saved his life! Another hospital and doctor in another county was going to let him suffocate to death. He cut out a piece of his lung where the bullous wouldn't close up and took care of him quick. Good bed side manner and to the point.

Arrived 12:55 for 1:00 appt. Finally called back at 1:40. Still sitting in room at 2:15. I'll bet he doesn't wait that long to get his sports cars oil changed without throwing a hissy fit.

The title says it all. If anyone needs a heart surgeon and no matter what the problem. This is your man. To me, he works miracles.
