List of Richard Gibson's Reviews
A cruel sexist who takes delight in mocking, dismissing, patronizing, and otherwise bullying his female patients. Willful neglect of care to women and girl patients. Actively enjoys causing women distress and refusing them adeqate medical care. Does his job properly with male patients; his behaviour is clearly therefore a choice as he is not genuinely incompetent at his job. Having this man as my assigned family doctor and being refused time and time again my right to switch to another doctor and having to continue to see this man was a trauma that has completely shattered my ability to speak with doctors out of the executive dysfunction caused by the extreme terror I experience any and every time that I require medical attention. Thank God that he is retired and cannot hurt anyone anymore. Evil, evil man. THe personification of medical sexism.
Poor communicator, and very reluctant to refer patient to a specialist. Quickly gets bored and will show you to the door after a few minutes. Overall quite arrogant. I hear he is retiring, his replacement will have small shoes to fill.
Rick Gibson has been our family doctor for over 20 years and I couldn't ask for better. He is blunt but there's no beating around the bush with him. He will prescribe when necessary but won't entertain nonsense. I like that.
Direct and compassionate. Engages patients and families in treatment choices. Builds trust and confidence.
Dr Gisbon is a very rude uncaring doctor. He has no bed side manner no compassion and no epiphany. He does not like to answer any questions. I found it very hard to listen him as he closes his eyes when talking to you. I feel like he thinks he is above you.. All he is any good for is writing a prescription, he will give you drugs for any reason.. He write prescriptions for narcotic for my mom and my dad picks them up for her.. If you can find another Dr you should.
Dr. Gibson was always for me someone if you knew what was wrong with you you can ask him for it and he would give it to you and send you on your way (i.e. having strep throat). When it came to a real medication side effect that made me ill and I needed a simple medical note to say I was sick to write an exam he got mad at me and asked me, "what is your angle" then when my very concerned psychologist contacted him he avoided all questions. Then upon my last appointment with him as I didn't understand why my doctor of 25 years had turned so nasty about a medical note I could have gotten from any duty doctor he told me to find a new doctor. I'm left confused and disappointed.
Dr. Gibson is a caring and efficient doctor. He's been my doctor for 25 years and I couldn't ask for better. He is excellent~!!
I have been a patient of Dr. Gibson's for 20 plus years and he is an excellent doctor. VERY knowledgeable and empathetic. Doesn't prescribe drugs at the drop of a hat but only after careful consideration. I like that. Highly recommend Dr. Gibson.
I don't think when dr gibson ' s nurse writes ur ailments on the paper before you see him that he even reads them ! He comes in and sits down , doesn't even discuss what's wrong with you. I'm now in the process of looking for another dr.
I don't find him very helpful with concerns I have, he has been my family doctor since I was a baby and didn't find he cared. When I was in my teens he told my mom something I said to him in private, and I never found he listened to me because of my age. If it wasn't for Carrie I probably wouldn't still be his patient.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
