List of Richard Gray's Reviews
Unfortunately, it was recommended that I go to Dr. Gray for carpal tunnel surgery. I wanted minimally invasive surgery through my wrist. He LIED to me that he would perform the procedure in that way. Instead, I wake up from surgery with an incision (1.5 inches long) in the PALM of my hand and two weeks of recovery time. My hand wasn't healing well, and he was indifferent to the damage he had caused. A year after the surgery, I still have pain in my scar - there is an INCH LONG keloid in my palm that bothers me daily. RUN as far from this incompetent creep as fast as you can.
A quick post to thank Dr. Gray and his staff for excellent care and a very successful left knee-replacement. From my first visit to post-op appointments, the whole process has gone very well, even better than the right knee replacement I had 14 years ago by another well-rated surgeon. I recommend Dr. Gray without reservation!
I was very pleased with Florida Medical Clinic! Richard Grey was my doctor and I felt very comfortable with his knowledge. He took his time, explained everything It was a good experience
Uh...He's OK.I can't speak to his medical expertise.I heard he knows how to cook meat. But don't steak my word for it.
Saw Dr Gray for the first time regarding a cyst on finger. I waited in examination room for 1 hour, no apology from him re long wait. I also found him condescending and arrogant. Not impressed at all. Will not go back.
I recommend Dr. Gray without hesitation. I first met Dr Gray some years ago when I blew a disk in my back and was in excruciating pain. He was so caring and straightforward about my options including doing nothing. I opted for the surgery and had a great experience and result. Four years ago I developed a problem in my right knee and went back for evaluation. Again I was impressed by his caring manor and options presented. I opted to get the knee cleaned out not once but 3 times. Finally last summer I'd had enough and had a total knee replacement at the end of August. Again I was impressed by his approach and care to help each patient have the best outcome possible. A year ago I was in constant pain day and night. Two weeks ago I walked a 6K without pain! I even did a 3 mile hike including a long staircase up a bank. Couldn't have done that a year ago either. I sincerely want to thank Dr. Gray and his excellent staff for their care and shepherding me through the entire joint replacement process. They are a gift to medicine and the new knee is a gift to me and my family. Thank you Dr. Gray!
Total hip replacement January 14 and it couldn't have gone better. Dr Gray and his staff are not just professionally competent (GREAT IN ALL ASPECTS), but they are very personable and genuinely care. I was apprehensive going in but very confident before it was my day. Every detail of the surgery was explained and my questions were answered during the "Joint Camp" and it was all documented in the Swift Path Patient Guide. So satisfied I am going back for knee replacement in March!
I had a mallet finger injury, splinted it multiple times under Dr. Gray's direction, my finger was drooping a little after splinting, since the drooping was not improved, the next step was to undergo surgery, I did have a surgery about a year ago, big mistake, a year after the surgery, not only the drooping is not fixed, it has gotten worse, before the surgery, i had no pain, now, after going through the surgery, i have constant pain and I have lost some of the use of my right hand due to pain in my finger, and also the drooping is much worse than before the surgery. I will be looking for another surgeon who could help me. Very disappointed with Dr. Gray's performance, last time he saw me, he said, you cannot expect a normal finger, it will never be like a brand new finger. I wish I never went through the surgery and just lived with a mild droop of my middle finger.
Don't recommend Dr Gray after surgery wasn't a success. Also office missed billed surgery cost ( cost was more than stated ).
After a few years of pain and progressive loss of activities, I went to Dr. Gray to see what could be done to help me with my hip. I am so glad that I did! As we, together, considered a plan of action, I was impressed by the amount of time he took with me and his overall demeanor. He is friendly, open, and so easy to talk to. We jointly decided on a total hip replacement. I admit that I was afraid of major surgery; however, Dr. Gray so thoroughly explained the surgical process and recovery, that my anxiety was greatly reduced. I am so happy with the results. I wish I had done it much sooner and saved myself from a considerable amount of time in pain and unable to do the things I love, like taking my dog for a walk. Dr. Gray and his amazing staff made my life whole again. So thorough, so patient- oriented, so efficient, and, most important to me, so nice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
