I was a new patient. I had moved from Alabama to here. My Dr in Alabama new all my diagnosis I have a lot and also knew with these there are times when I get up in the morning and know I can't make my appointment. Dr Capps will profess to be a Christian but this man with held my medication and noted in my records if I missed 1 more appointment he would no longer keep me as a patient. When I showed up for my last appointment he had no idea of all my problems! He doesn't get to know his patients at all! So my next appointment they called to make sure I was coming I said no and I will no longer be his patient. They asked why and I told them but sure nothing got back to him. Those few days without my Rheumatoid meds was so very painful along with my CRPS. He was more interested in talking Bible than caring and learning about his patient! I wouldn't say a Christian would behave in this way. Made me change doctors and rethinking the Christian ways

Can I give zero stars!? I brought my neice to her appointment with her 2 year old son that has a diagnosis of Autism. There was no patients in the waiting room. My neices's son was running through the waiting room for about 5 minutes. We had him calmed down and sitting on one of the waiting room couches and gathering our things to take him outside when Dr. Capps came out to the waiting room yelling and verbally assaulting us because the baby had been running through the waiting room. We explained to him that the baby was autistic and he stated he didn't care. This man is an uncaring and insensitive individual. This is my neices's first and last visit to Dr. Capp's office. His office staff who reported the incident to him is just as insensitive and uncaring as he is. No wonder he had no patients.

If you are in need of a Rhumitologist in my opinion Dr Capps is the best. He is thorough, he takes time to know the patient and their symptoms and he is a careing thoughtful doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Robert Capps.

Dr Capps is a wonderful doctor and person. He genuinely cares about his patients and I have been a patient for 18 years and at one point I started on some new medicine and he gave me his cell phone number since it was on a Friday in case I needed to talk with him over the weekend. That is absolutely unheard of from a doctor. It was very comforting to know he was there for me .

Excellent doctor. I had an appointment with Dr Capps that I was very anxious about. He was very patient with me and answered my questions in depth. I never felt rushed and I felt confident in his diagnosis.

He's a compassionate and very knowledgeable physician!! He has diagnosed immune disorders with me that other Rheumatologists have not. He's so very kind to his patients and I think he's the best Rheumatologist ever. I would highly recommend him!!
