Dr. Rice is really chill, I like him a lot - this is not about him. This review is about the front office billing staff. I have been to this office for 3 years now. I received new health insurance and provided my new insurance information upon my visit. I checked to make sure that my insurance was in network. I received my bill and they billed the visit as out of network. The front office staff should have notified me that the insurance was out of network before I completed my visit. Doctors office can also provide a discount in unique situations and still get paid the same amount by an insurance company. But they were not willing to help me so I'm stuck with an out of network health insurance bill.

My husband and I were both seen and we love Dr. Rice. He always takes his time and is very thorough. He had prescribed a medication for me which the pharmacy did not have. I needed to reach his office to see about prescribing it at another pharmacy. To reach his office is not an easy task. I finally left a message for his nurse and they did get back to me however it would be nice to be able to talk directly to the office. If I have questions I need to talk to a real person, not a menu of options.
